Interaction with Guests
I try to be there when guests arrive so that I can show them the apartment and get the aquainted with the space. I am always available to my guests if problems arise or they have questions about anything. However, I try to allow my guests privacy and space. I want the apartment to feel like it is their own little apartment in the city while they are here.
Park Slope is one of the best neighborhoods in all of New York City. It is very safe and family friendly. There are tons of parks and the jewel of Brooklyn Prospect Park is only a 10 minute walk from the house. There are tons of restuarants, boutiques, markets, farmers market and every convenience just steps away. It is very convenient to Manahattan as well.
We are about a 5 minute walk from the F, G and R subway line.

Annie&David made us feel like we were visiting relatives we liked. Apt. Was lovely, clean, with plenty of room to walk around( the bed was exceptionally comfy).Location couldn't have been more desirable- walking distance to the R&F trains which take you into city or different parts of Brklyn, to a large selection of restaurants of variety of cultures,& 10 min. Walk to Gorgeous Prospect Park.Any time we needed help we texted Annie and she got right back to us.She and her family could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We plan to return next year.
Excellent apartment overall. Very clean and equiped with everything you may need to feel at home. The spaces are well distributed, which can be difficult in old little NYC. The apartment also has a lot of natural light both in the living and kitchen, looking into the backyard from the 3rd floor. Also making it very quite.
My wife and I stayed for three weeks and loved the neighborhood. Everything is walking distance for a large variety of options for eating out to all sorts of grocery shopping and specialty stores. If you want to go to Manhattan, you can be there in as little as 25 minutes without transfers in Metro (starting time since walk from apartment). Plus, I felt very safe here.
Annie was an excellent and attentive host. She was nice enough to stock up the fridge with a lot of goodies, making our arrival as pleasant as possible. Thanks Annie.
Annie was a wonderful host for our trip. She accommodated our flight schedule and even had some basic groceries for us upon our arrival. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. We were a group of 4 and fit comfortably in this apartment. We hope to stay with Annie on future visits.
Annie was a great host during our stay in Brooklyn; she and her family was very friendly and she was always helpful from the day we moved in her place until our departure. When we come back Brooklyn we definitely choose Annie’s place again. The house is bright and gets sun all day. The place is at a central location in Park Slope. Many of the popular spots like Barclay Center and Prospect Park are within walking distance. The subway is a few minutes' walk away. There are numerous shops, groceries and restaurants around. The variety is diverse, from Japanese to Korean and from Mexican to Indian cuisine.
We had a great time staying at the apartment. It was spotless, quiet and well equipped. I was working in Brooklyn so it was super convenient and close to many transport links and good places to eat and drink. All in all a good place to stay. Annie was friendly, welcoming and left us to ourselves.
Annie was there to meet us at the door. She showed us around and explained how to use the keys. She was nearby, but gave us much privacy.
The apartment was perfect for us during our weeklong stay! Annie and David were both extremely helpful, communicating with us well in advance of our trip and during our visit, checking in to be sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is immaculate, spacious with full kitchen and an excellent bed. The location is ideal - close to the metro and in an area with a multitude of places to eat or just hang out. Anyplace in Park Slope is close by and wihin walking distance. We highly recomment the apartment and hope to stay there again soon. Thank you Annie and David!

About the Host, Annie
I think visiting New York City is best when you stay in a real neighborhood, and we live in one of the best neighborhoods in NYC. I love telling people about this city and introducing them to Brooklyn. I am helpful and friendly, but also allow you the privacy and peace you need when you are on vacation. My home is clean and comfortable and convenient to all New York City and Brooklyn have to offer.
