Where you’ll be

Richmond, Kentucky, United States

Nestled in the edge of the Bluegrass, the area offers great hiking, ATV'ing, Arts & Crafts, history, horseback riding and natural beauty. Madison County is home to Eastern Kentucky University and Berea College, with Berea being the home of Kentucky's Appalachian Art and enjoy Spoonbread at Boone Tavern. Explore early Pioneer living at Fort Boonesboro, founded by Daniel Boone. Battlefield Memorial Park does a yearly Civil War Re-enactment that's pretty impressive, complete with cannon's. Tour White Hall Historic Site, the home of emancipationist Cassius Marcellus Clay, or catch one of their "tea's". Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge state park is not a far drive, and offers Rock Climbing, hiking, ziplines and a chair lift to the Bridge if you don't feel like the walk.

There's plenty to choose from for dining, from Proud Mary's on the River (generally offers live music Thursday-Saturday) to Thia Smile in Richmond. Richmond now has a micro brewery and offers live music most Friday and Saturday nights. If you are looking for International dining Richmond offers Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants as well. Berea Coffee and Tea is unique and worth the trip.

We only get one chance at life, so I try to live it to the fullest and capture as much love, laughter and adventure as possible. I am very social and love to spend time with family and friends, I've never met a stranger and always find something to like in everyone I meet. ATVing, trail riding and camping with my horse is one of my passions, as is good music and fine food. I am blessed to have the opportunity to camp and ride in gorgeous Eastern Kentucky and surrounding states. I am an outdoors enthusiast and stay busy with the horses, dogs and gardening. My love of reading is evidenced by the library in the space that I share with my guests. I love a good movie, but would rather go make memories that are movie worthy!

If you are here to enjoy trail riding or ATV'ing in the area arrangements can be made for guided rides April through November.
