In addition to her day job, Ruth mentors a girl through the public schools and is a Girl Scout leader. Similarly, Dave mentors a boy and is a Boy Scout leader as well as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer. And ask us about geocaching.

Not much rule-wise other than that. Convenient driveway parking. Feel free to use basic household features: washer, dryer, clothesline, fridge, freezer, kitchen in general, etc. Our bikes most likely are available to borrow. The neighborhood is very bike friendly, walking friendly and friendly in general. If there is anything else, just ask.
My stay at Ruth and Davids was very nice. The location was adjacent to UNC campus making it easy to see my daughter who lives in the dorms. The room was comfortable with a sink in the room, wifi, and a nice view of the woods. Breakfast was delicious. Homemade scones were a treat. Located in a very quiet neighborhood.
We had a wonderful time in Chapel Hill and it was thanks to David and Ruth’s expertise at hosting and their great location. We were in town for a Tar Heels basketball game and were wowed on how short the walk was from their door to the entrance of the Smith Center. The room was clean and comfortable and David and Ruth made us feel very welcomed. In addition to a comfortable bed, great wifi access, and a delicious breakfast, they were thoughtful in providing us flash-lights to ensure a safe walk home from the arena in the dark. They were the perfect choice for our first adventure with AirBnB.
Dave and Ruth are really nice. The house is beautiful with a lot of lovely details. They've prepared everything that a traveller might use, much beyond my expectation. It's the best B&B I've ever stayed. BTW, their cat is so cute, making me consider to raise one myself.
Dave and Ruth are very friendly. The house is clean and neat, and is very close to the business school. We had amazing breakfast with Dave and Ruth. The scones were great as well as blueberries and milk. Dave helped me to find the way to UNC and help me to print a form. I was well prepared for the interview with UNC because of this nice environment. I am very grateful. I give 100/100!!!
Fantastic stay at David and Ruth's!! They made us feel very welcome and safe. Listing was as described- comfortable, clean, and cozy! Delicious freshly baked scones in the morning were lovely! The conversation around the breakfast table with our two hosts was rich as well.
We had a fantastic time staying with Ruth and David! We were down in Chapel Hill trying to decide if we are going to move down there. They are lovely people and gave us lots of information about what it's like to live there. They even left us with real estate listings! The breakfast and coffee were also great! And the bed was cozy and has beautiful light in the morning.
Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We felt right at home!
We stayed at B&B by UNC for two nights while attending a conference at the nearby UNC Friday Center. David and Ruth were great hosts! David emailed a pdf ahead of time outlining directions as well as a list of local attractions in the area. We felt very welcomed and comfortable in their home. Everything is as stated in the listing and the FS bed was very comfortable. An offer was made to have a glass of wine in the evening and we enjoyed time visiting with David and Ruth. The breakfast was wonderful! We especially enjoyed the fresh baked scones and selection of fresh fruit. Thank you David and Ruth! We had a wonderful stay in your cozy wooded home!
