A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT THE APARTMENT
It was my home for several years, and since 2003 I'm renting it fully furnished to people looking for an inside look of the city, not a made-for-tourists fake facade. I was really lucky since the beginning: my first tenants were great people. First, Danny Palmerlee (well known Lonely Planet´s guides Editor). He lived in my place for over a year during the process of writing Best of Buenos Aires, a book available at Amazon.
Then arrived Nadya S, NYU law student who not only was amazing to meet, also she quickly became my friend, and so far Nad is the most ironic, clever and funny English speaking I´ve met (despite the fact she is a big time lawyer). She fell in love with the place. And after her it began a new chapter after the other in this story that finally leads to Asli Akin, adorable turkish Art Director now back in Istambul. I promise to update the whole thing soon.
I run my own practice as PR and Communication consultant in the Entertainment Industry, so if you are up to, you can count with invitations to parties and gatherings and also with my own personal picks on what to do or what shouldn't be missed during your stay. I live 5 blocks away from this apartment. I know how to make people at home and welcome. I'm a world traveler myself so I take care of every detail.
RATES AND DETAILS. Varies depending on the length of your stay, please get back to me if you have questions about it or a solid offer.
+ MID/LONG TERM RENTALS (6 MONTHS TO A +YEAR) GET A CONSIDERABLE OFF.
- ALL SERVICES AND TAXES INCLUDED
Water, gas, local expenses, internet, cable TV. (all of it except electricity. I try to be as Eco - friendly as possible: if you use +30 USD of electricity a month per period, the rest it´s on you). -> I'm renting my apartment since 2003 and not only one time I need to charge this extra fee. It´s just a measure to reassure that my tenants understand that to take care of electricity and water is important not only for economical reasons.

Interaction with Guests

Not much: non smoking apartment. Ash trash placed on the balcony for that purpose.

About the Host, Julie (Juliana Actually)
Im a Journalist by profession and I run my own Public Relations practice, mostly in the Entertainment field.
I love my own country and Im a world traveler myself so I know what people usually need to feel welcome when visiting other latitudes. I try to understand their needs to take care of details, so my tenants have the best experience while in a beautiful -but not always easy to find out- city like Buenos Aires.
Im currently living in the Palermo area, +10 blocks away from this Funky Flat which was my home for several years. It has a great vibe and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. I adore it! I try to keep it simple but furnished very cool with vintage and new items from here and there.
