The bungalow is very unique and charming. It is located in a small village in a coconut grove, near a river and rice fields. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place with beautiful surroundings and artistically decorated, this is your spot.
For rentals of one week or less we provide breakfast. Evening meals can be arranged with our private chefs with one days notice. You choose the menu. The cost is Rp 100.000 plus the cost of the food. Laundry service Is available. Our pool is available for guests. Massages on site are available for Rp 150.000 per person per hour. Free parking is available.
Interaction with Guests
We like to greet you on arrival or at least the first day and find out your interests and plans and describe our services.
Thereafter we are available but leave the details of your stay to our manager Gede. It really depends on how much interaction you want.
We are located in a small rural Balinese village where we greet the Balinese on a daily basis. The village does not have a through street and is located far enough off the main roads so that it has little traffic and is quiet. The village is surrounded by rice fields where you can take some leisurely walks and you will see ducks, chickens and cows.
There are four drivers in our village who can provide you with transportation to and from the airport, Ubud and around Bali. Airport pick up or drop off is Rp 300.000, one way to or from Ubud is Rp 70.000. Excursions around Bali are negotiable. Motor bikes can be rented for Rp 50.000 per day.
Other Things to Note
We are near a painting village, a yoga retreat (Purnati) , the Bali Bird Park and the Bali Zoo. The nearest beach is in Sanur 35 minutes by car.
Non-smoking, no pets. Please limit your use of candles. Maximum occupancy two persons.
Tamarra and Paul are a retired couple from the US. Tamarra is a photographer and writer who writes book reviews ( under the pen name - Uma Anyar ) for The Ubud Writers and Readers Festival column in The Bali Avertiser and film reviews for Inspired Bali magazine. She has published the book, Ogoh-Ogoh: Balinese Monsters about the humongus paper mache sculptures which are paraded and burned on the eve of Nyepi, the Balinese New Year. Tamarra is responsible for the wonderful decorations and design of our villa and the guest houses. Paul is a retired chemist who makes tasty wine and loves Bali's environment for hiking, bird watching and musing on the state of things. They are confirmed film addicts with no desire for rehabilitation. Tamarra and Paul love their adopted island and their three dogs and enjoy sharing their version of paradise with guests from all over the world.
