The Space

This is an ideal location for visitors. This is modest but nice and completely private studio condo in the Gold Coast located near Water Tower Place, the Hancock Tower, and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

It's 1/2 block from the public transportation stop ( trains and buses), 4 blocks from both Michigan Ave /Oak Beach for swimming, and the fabulous restaurants and nightlife of Rush Street.

It's in the heart of Chicago's most famous shopping district within easy walking distance to the lakefront trail, Navy Pier, and Oak and Ohio Street beaches. Occupancy by 2 people is comfortable, 3 is ok, and 4 is workable if you are good friends. I will provide an air mattress for an additional $25 if need it.

Hotel type amenities
Wireless Internet-5 MPBS available for an extra $25 flat rate (one time fee/not daily)
Clean freshly-washed white sheets and white Towels waiting for you
Coffee maker now available.

There is also coin laundry in the building. The apartment was recently rehabbed - it is very clean and the kitchen appliances and plumbing fixtures are new.
Street parking is available sometimes.
Chicago visitor information materials available in the apartment, I'm always happy to guide you around the city to the hottest, most notable destinations no matter what your budget, style, or interest.

Looking forward to hosting,

  • My experience with Tee Lam was fine, he explained the check-in procedure through the phone, and everything went quite smoothly. The unit was what I had expected, a small, but very functional studio, with lots of natural light. The neighborhood is very nice, 24-hour drugstores just on the corner, groceries store and many bars and restaurants just nearby. The subway is also one block away, very convenient. This is a great place to stay if you're looking to stay close to Downtown Chicago.

  • Excellent option for a short stay in Chicago. A truly comfortable apartment in a safe building in a strategically-perfect location.

At all times, the host stayed in touch and helped us with our needs.

  • The listing was exactly as described, and an unbelievable deal for the neighborhood. Walking distance (about a mile) from Lincoln Park, and only two blocks away from the red line stop of the L. Just enough space for a couple for the weekend, and everything was clean. The regular cleaning lady was actually injured when we arrived, and so the studio hadn't really been cleaned, but Tee Lam came himself almost immediately to make the space was spotless. We initially couldn't figure out how to lock the door behind us, but again he responded immediately to our phone call and solved the problem easily. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

  • The apartment was way beyond my expectations, everything was clean and neat. Although I never had the privilege to meet Tee in person he was very helpful and answered every call and question. Karla the house keeper was really friendly.
The apartment is in a really nice and convenient location, just 2 blocks away from the Red line stations and 1 block away from Starbucks, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy, the block is surrounded by a couple of bars that make arriving late a very pleasant and safe experience.
Bed quality was top notch, air conditioner worked flawlessly and the internet service was fast and reliale. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, I highly recommend you to go shopping, buy some eggs, mushrooms, milk cereal and save yourself a good amount of money eating on the street. Overall a fantastic experience, it really felt like home to me.
    Thanks a lot!

  • The property at 11 W. Division, Chicago that my husband I stayed at last weekend was clean, in an extremely convenient location and reasonably priced. The space is small, so don't plan to spend too much time hanging out in the condo…which you shouldn't do in Chicago anyway. The host was available 24/7 to answer questions, and responded quickly when I text him. Thanks, Tee!

  • My best friend and I wanted to visit Chicago but needed to do so on a budget. When we found Tee's luxury studio, we knew it would be a great fit. The host (Tee) was very responsive, which to me was great because I had never used Airbnb before. He was very helpful and even let us do a late check out because our flights were not until 8pm. This allowed us to have one last day touring the city without dragging our luggage around. I would def. recommend the space. It is just enough room and quite pleasant for two people. The bathroom shower had great water pressure and the place was very tidy.
