Interaction with Guests
As much or as little as the guest prefers. We love getting to know our guests but if you an introvert like myself we totally get it and will give you your space.
South Perry is home to Spokane's richest display of social, economic, and cultural diversity. Our strong sense of community supports a weekly farmers' market, an historic business district, and many community organizations.
Our neighborhood is conveniently located near the downtown core, the University District, and the medical district. The South Perry Neighborhood is beautiful. We have beautiful parks, historic homes, great food, and a thriving collection of eclectic shops.
The center of the South Perry Neighborhood is a beautiful, pedestrian friendly historic business district. Neighborhood residents enjoy a 4 block walk to great restaurants, pubs, salons, and several specialty stores including a florist, a vintage clothing store, yoga studio, coffee shop and new juice bar.
The Spokane Transit Authority runs the 45 Bus through the neighborhood and has a bus stop less than 3 blocks from our house.
We are also located 15 minutes from the Spokane Airport. Need a ride to/from the airport? We will come get you for only $5.
Other Things to Note
Although we do not have cable and limited reception of local channels there is no shortage of programming to watch. We have subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime for instant steaming of movies and TV. We also have a DVD/Blu-Ray player if you feel like renting a movie.
We own 2 cats. They are on the shy side but with a little effort they usually will come out and pay you a visit.
Non-Smoking Home - Please no smoking on the premises.
We ask that guests leave their shoes on the front porch in an effort to keep the carpets clean.
It is important to leave the lid up on the toilet because our cats are toilet trained and accidents happen when they don't have access.
We have had enough guests spill wine on the carpet that we ask that guests not to eat or drink (things that can stain) in their room.
