The Space

The room is on the second floor facing the Rainforest and looking up the Valley. You go to sleep with the cool night rains and wake up with the rainforest, stream and several varieties of songs from the birds.

It has a double bed, dresser, wifi, 37" HD cable TV ceiling fan, large closet. We also have a raised single airbed we can set up for you for a $40.00 fee that includes linen and towels.

There is a small living room upstairs.

The bathroom upstairs has toilet, sink and a storage closet. Towels provided.

The night rains from windward side keep us cooler at a higher elevation by the Kilohano Mountains.

Downstairs the dining room that seats 6, overlooks the living room. There is a small library with a variety of Hawaiian Culture, self help and other topics. There is room 10-15 people for a get together. There is also a workout gym.

The kitchen has a regular stove, a countertop stovetop, steamer, toaster oven, microwave, crockpot. We have two fridges and a BBQ outside.

Everyone has different time schedules, so it is rare to cook with someone else, unless we are doing a bbq or potluck.

The house is 4400 square feet. So large, comfy and homey. Welcome to have friends over.

We have a walk in shower and a full 8x8 bathroom tub/shower downstairs.

Our back lanai has a coin washer, dryer and small closeline to hang things. We have orange trees, mountain apple, figs and lillikoi. You are welcome to pick flowers for your room.

we are across the street from a rainforest, near a buddist temple and walking distance to low lying waterfalls Tin Roof and triple falls - Ice Ponds), but 15 min from the airport, Kamehameha Shopping Center. The Pink Store (mom and pop store) is 5 minutes and 7 driveways from the bus #7, that has connecting buses to waikiki, ala moana, downtown Honolulu and Aloha Tower.
