This is a comfortable room in a very cool part of Brooklyn, which offers an excellent base for a stay in New York. It comes exactly as described and communication as well as check-in and check-out was easy, straightforward, helpful and dependable.
Daniel and Daniela are friendly hosts and Daniel is a most excellent musician, so if you're lucky and around during the daytime you may catch him playing some wonderful jazz on the piano. And the gesture of a freshly blended fruit juice on a couple of occasions also hit the mark!
Food in the neighbourhood is plenty and varied and Daniel sent me a list of recommendations, each one I tried coming good on its promise. A great asset also is the patio which you reach through a basement staircase and corridor.
Getting around is extremely easy, as you're just round the corner from the L and the G trains which take you to Manhattan, up to Queens and down into Brooklyn respectively.
So all in all, it's a case of what you see is what you get: functional and super convenient. I would happily return and I can certainly recommend it.
I have spent 3 great nights at Daniela & Daniel apartment. I traveled alone for the business purpose (every day I need to travel to Manhattan, which is 10min by subway (L train) distance from D&D location). D&D were very helpful & responsive. Everything was as described in the apartment description (FAQ). I felt independent and comfortable (I loved when Daniel played piano downstairs!). Williamsburg area is very colorful, vibrant and safe. You can find there a lot of nice restaurants, coffee shops & parks. I will definitely come back! My best recommendation!
There were no surprises, which in my book is always a very good thing. Also, me checking in and out late was not at all a problem and I had privacy when I wanted, but also the opportunity to get help from Daniel when I had questions. If I visit NY again, I will for sure check this room's availability.
Little tip for visitors: I found the Reunion Cafe [(website hidden)] to be a great place to eat breakfast. It's nearby, quiet and has good food.
The absolute loveliest place, with the loveliest couple in Brooklyn! !
A truly peaceful, restful and great place to spend time. I was there for a 10 day stay and I would do it again. ..no question!! ♡ ♡ ☆
