You can get a cab at SDU to get here, make sure you get a metered taxi and not the special airport cab. It shouldn't be more than R$20,00. There is not a subway Station in the airport.

We stayed here for the second time.
Don't hesitate, if you want to explore the nightlife of Lapa and Santa Teresa. We booked the biggest room (because te other rooms were full) and this was actually a good option for us. The room is close to the bathroom and has enough space for two persons.
Evandro was very helpfull and friendly, thanks a lot Evandro!
I stayed at Evandro & Léo's house for one night before departing for Maceió in Northeastern in Brazil. Evandro was very nice when I got there he showed me everything at his home and gave me some suggestions of places to go in the evening. Additionally he gave me some ice because I hurt my right arm at the tournament that day. They were kind enough to share soap with me. The room wa very clean, comfortable with a classic style. I would highly recommend staying at Evandro and Leo's house.
Evandro is a very nice host and the location is great .I definitely recommended :-)
Evandro is a wonderful host, always worried about my comfort . The room is very nice and the neighborhood is very safe.
We loved the views of downtown Rio and the comfortable veranda. Santa Teresa is beautiful with many decaying, but once stately buildings. The streets are very, very quiet, but we encountered no safety problems. Evandro is very friendly and quick to respond. He helped us organize a taxi to leave. The room is a decent size with high ceilings. A lot of character. The shared bathroom is the biggest drawback. The shower is not that great, and a severe leak from upstairs also meant that the water was turned off frequently the last day of our stay.
