The space
The Suboya Bamboo House is set on the edge of a valley, providing stunning views over the rice terraces and Mount Agung. The ground floor features a large open space with a king bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom where you can shower under the open sky. Relax in the hammock or cozy up in the cuddle corner filled with pillows. There’s also a dining table and a bar table, ideal for breakfast or catching up on some work. The entire ground floor is open, enhancing the connection with nature, and the surrounding area is completely safe.
Upstairs, the private master bedroom includes a separate bathroom with a sink and toilet. A shared open-air shower is located on the ground floor. The upstairs terrace features lounge chairs and a hanging net, perfect for chilling out and soaking in the stunning views of the rice fields below.
Sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the upstairs master bedroom and another king bed in the open living area on the ground floor, comfortably accommodating up to four guests.
We also offer a variety of tours and activities, from hiking the local rice terraces to Balinese massage and yoga lessons. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Suboya House provides an authentic and immersive experience in the heart of Bali.

Living Amidst Nature:
Our bamboo houses are open to the natural environment, so you may encounter insects, ants, small lizards, and mosquitoes. While our team works hard to maintain cleanliness, please be aware that bugs and small creatures are part of the experience here, as the house is designed to embrace the surrounding landscape. We provide mosquito nets, but if insects make you uncomfortable, this may not be the best fit for you.
Towels & Linen:
Due to the high humidity in the area, especially during the rainy season, towels and linens may feel damp at times. If you need fresh replacements during your stay, just let our team know and we’ll be happy to provide them.
Breakfast Included:
A complimentary breakfast is included in your stay. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner from our small, local restaurant. We recommend ordering in advance as there are no other dining options within walking distance.
Remote Location & Amenities:
We are situated in a secluded area, with no nearby shops or ATMs. To help you explore, we provide one complimentary scooter (for two people) per villa per night. Please bring sufficient cash as there are no ATMs nearby.
Children & Safety:
Due to safety concerns, we do not accommodate children under 12 at Camaya Bali.
Hanging Net Usage:
Our bamboo houses feature hanging nets, offering stunning views and a space to relax. For your safety, please use the hanging nets at your own risk. The outdoor net supports a maximum of 2 people. Avoid standing, jumping, or putting excessive weight on the nets. We recommend using both hands and feet when crossing the net and avoiding sitting on the edges.
Noise Policy:
The property is nestled among other villas with uninterrupted views, but to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, we kindly request noise reduction after 10 PM.
Drone Policy:
Drone use is allowed between 8 AM and 9 AM, with prior permission from the team. Outside these hours, drone usage is not allowed to protect the privacy of all guests.
Local Laws:
We kindly request all guests to respect local laws. Sharing explicit or LGBT content on public platforms is discouraged in line with local regulations.
Security:
A small safety box is provided for your valuables. Our neighborhood is safe, with your local host, Made, a resident of the nearby village, maintaining good relations with the local farmers, who are always welcoming to our guests.
