This bright, spacious one bedroom apartment has plenty of room and sunlight and is located only 4 blocks away from the beach between Montana and Idaho.
The bedroom features a California King-size bed and private bathroom with very strong water pressure in the shower (a guest favorite), living/dining room combo, 60” LED screen and BluRay, a half bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen.
A queen-sized air mattress is available to accommodate your additional guests.
We are always upgrading and adding art, décor and little touches to our rooms. Your bathroom is fully stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, cotton balls/rounds and Q-tips, moisturizer, make up remover, and more. Forgot your toothbrush? No problem, we have you covered.
From there you’re off to a long day on Santa Monica Beach, international shopping and dining on Montana Avenue or at the Third Street Promenade, giving it your all on the Santa Monica Stairs, or the Santa Monica Farmer's Markets on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings. And don’t forget the finest restaurants and night life.

Your ‘home away from home’ is located in one the finest and safest neighborhoods in Santa Monica, conveniently located between Wilshire Boulevard and Montana Avenue, a few blocks from Ocean Avenue.
It’s a very quiet, peaceful and tranquil area, near everything, that you will love and be very happy that you are staying here!
The building is situated on a street with beautiful tall palm trees with free parking right in front of the building. We provide you everything that you may need -- or forget – in order to make your travel and vacation needs complete, fun, and easy; and make you happy in the process! :-)
You can walk to Third Street Promenade shopping, theaters and restaurants; the Santa Monica Beach and Pier; morning exercise on the Santa Monica Stairs and much more.
There's a Blue Bus line stop right in the corner of 4th Street and Idaho right next to us that will take you almost anywhere in Los Angeles.
You will LOVE the close proximity to everything!
You are a three to four block walk from the Third Street Promenade, the Montana Avenue boutiques and shops, Palisades Park (along Ocean Avenue overlooking the beach and Pacific Coast Highway), the Santa Monica Farmer's Markets on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and the Santa Monica Beach; and only a ten to fifteen minute walk from the Santa Monica Pier.
The Blue Bus will take you almost anywhere in Los Angeles.

There is ample parking, but we have a private covered parking spot available for $10 a day.

There's free parking in front of the building on 4th Street between Idaho and Montana, as well as in the residential neighborhood four blocks north of Montana on 4th. Parking on Montana Avenue is also free one block west of 4th Street on Montana Avenue and the three blocks immediately east.
1. Are based on 1 hour cleaning including washing/drying linens and dishwasher run and emptying it. Any additional time for cleaning will be taken off the security deposit.
2. Are based on weekly rentals only, if the reservation is for more that a week, additional weekly cleaning charges will apply.
Here is the dreaded “small print.” Don’t worry, its not so bad (insert smile), and are in place in order to make your stay the best one possible and allow Air BnB to thrive in Santa Monica problem-free…:-)
SMALL PRINT (Imagine a theatrical “pom pom pom” on the piano as we say this. It makes it more movie-like and less menacing…grab onto your seats!)
A. Please do not disturb the neighbors or other building occupants at any time.
B. For your convenience, we have people nearby or on-site at almost all times, day or night, for your keys and unit entry (please do not disturb other residents for keys or access – thanks).
C. Please DO NOT discuss, ask about, say by name, or interact with others about Air BnB, especially not in front of the building, when arriving or departing or while on mobile phone on the property or street. Regrettably, the cities New York, San Francisco and Santa Monica are anti-Air BnB and aggressively taking measures to try and stop it, including incentivizing any and all residents. The less openly discussed, the better for everyone involved. Similarly, please ask about ‘departure or arrival,’ not ‘check-in or check out.’ THANKS!
D. Please, return the keys to us or the designated return spots (typically, on your nightstand). There is a $40 lock change fee for the non-return of keys.
E. Please be quiet in the building common areas. Contact Elisabet with any concerns.
F. No guests are allowed in the swimming pool area or swimming pool as it is only for the building permanent resident’s usage.
G. Please, there is no smoking in the unit, building or balconies, nor in front or behind the building.
H. Please do not keep food in the bedrooms, nor discarded food -- e.g., banana peels, apple cores, etc. -- in the trash bins (flies aren't your friend).
I. There is NO PREPPING OR COOKING OF SHELLFISH of any kind, especially shrimp, in the unit. There is an additional $100 cleaning fee if this is not followed (Stinky! Would you want to come after that?).
J. Please do not bring so much contents that it requires a U-Haul or truck to move in. There is no transitional living and you may not store furniture or sell furniture from the unit. This will incur a $250 penalty, immediate eviction or both. (Feel free to ask about this, it’s a funny story…)
K. Please do not leave ANYTHING whatsoever in halls for any period of time (e.g., shoes, sandals, luggage, gift bags, groceries, shopping, strollers, beach items, beach chairs, towels, children's toys, toddlers, children's vehicles, visiting friend's stroller, cribs [hey, don’t laugh, it happened – large crib with tricycles, balls and more... It looked like nursery meets a playground in MY HALL that inspired my neighbors to share all their beautiful pictures with me via text at the concert that I had to immediately leave... Doh!], or bags, anything whatsoever. I think that was every example imaginable…) neighbors will literally complain IMMEDIATELY. (Yes, this one is funny story too)
I suppose I should say “please don’t set the place on fire” too, but I’m thinking that one is implied. Then again, I though that about the U-Hual…LOL
See, “that was easy.” No, our rules were easy, not shopping at Staples (insert smile, apologies to our foreign guests who don’t have Staples commercials. It would seem mildly funnier…).

Great location and great place to stay at! Check in was easy and the place is what I was expecting.
Elisabet was very flexible and responsive with all of my inquiries. She made Check-In very easy. The apartment was very clean and tidy with plenty of linens, cold water in the fridge, and snacks in the kitchen. The apartment is spacious and my group of 5 fit comfortably on the bed, couch, and supplied air mattress.
The 1/2 bathroom is just a sink and mirror outside of the main bathroom. There was no extra toilet.
There is a lot of street parking in the neighborhood, but there are a lot of cars as well. Took us some time circling the surrounding blocks before lucking into a spot.
Finally, the WiFi was too slow to stream Netflix. I'm sure resetting the modem/router could have helped, but my group didn't bother to fix it. WiFi was plenty fast for normal surfing.
Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place to friends or family.
Everything went without a hitch, hosts anxious to please, apartment clean, great location. We always sleep with windows open and there were some noisy neighbors off the alley in the middle of night so you may want earplugs. We parked either right in front or 2 or 3 blocks to the north, never a real problem. Great shower, comfy bed.
Our host, Sterling, warmly welcomed us even though we were early. After a tour of the apartment and essential information, he gave us a map of Santa Monica with cafe, grocery, and restaurant recommendations for a great area on Montana that we may not have readily found on our own.
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and has the most comfortable bed.
The picturesque neighborhood was a few short blocks from the ocean and the main shopping area. There was ready access to major art museums, the Santa Monica Playhouse and transportation to LA.
We enthusiastically recommend this apartment and would definitely stay there again.
Nice appartment well equipped in a great location next to the beach, Third Street Promenade and in a quite area.
The only drawback: a bit too dark despite the beautiful sunshine in Los Angeles.

nur einen Block von Santa Monica Beach und auch Santa Monica selbst eine schöne Stadt, war dort alleine unterwegs, auch am Abend kein Problem
