Lovely house separated from the main house so guest can have their own space. Nice little apartment with every thing that you could need. A little difficult to find but quite near great sightseeing places. Host was really nice and helpful. Would really recommend staying with them
Our host Xiaohong and her family had a lovely warm welcome for us when we arrived. She also supplied our accommodation with fresh fruit, bread and milk for breakfast. After a tour of our accommodation Xiaohong was able to give us a list of places to go for food and a drink that evening and also a map. We attended a wedding during our stay and the next morning Xiaohong husband brought us back to the wedding venue to collect our car.
I had such a wonderful time staying in Xiaohong and Peter's beautiful home. They're fantastic hosts - so friendly and helpful, and they went over and above to make me feel comfortable and welcome. The house and gardens are truly stunning, and it was a highlight of my trip to be shown around by Peter, who designed and built them. The location was also ideal for a wedding I was attending at Horetown House, just ten minutes away. The self-catering flat is perfect - light and airy, with lovely views over the garden. A wonderful place, and one I really hope to return to!
Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful home located ideally for visiting many interesting sites in the mostly sunny South East. Full selection of fresh food awaited us both inside & out of the fridge. A pleasant surprise! Xiaohong & Peter both very friendly & welcoming plus got a mini tour of their beautifully designed home. Something we also really appreciated.
Highly recommended with nothing but good things to say.
Xiaohong and Peter are extremely lovely and helpful hosts. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Everything is like you see at the pictures. The Japanese garden is such beautiful and the inner and outer architecture is outstanding. I enjoyed it very much staying here. Highly recommended!
Xiaohong and Peter were wonderful and generous hosts. Their home, with a design styled on a ringfort is a unique find in the Irish countryside. They also have lovely gardens including a small forest on the property. A very comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of the country. Highly recommend!
My wife, young son and I stayed at Rathmoon for three nights. We had a wonderful experience in this beautiful house and grounds. Xiaohong was an excellent host; helpful, kind and generous. She organised a comfortable single bed for our young son and he greatly enjoyed playing with their lovely boy, Nathaniel, and his toys. The house, designed by Xiaohong's architect husband, Peter, is fabulous; light-filled yet private and our self-contained studio was bright, clean and cozy. Throw in beautiful gardens and ponds, Peter's stunning artwork, several acres of pristine beech woodland, easy accessibility to Wexford, Rosslare and Hook Head. Great hosts in a great location. Who wouldn't want to stay here?? Highly recommended!!
