Pierre was a wonderful host. He was kind enough to pick us up from the train station when we arrived after 9pm at night. His apartment was lovely and clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and we even had a few shelves and hanging room to unpack our clothes onto. Pierre was full of very useful information with what to see and do in Avignon in the time that we had there. He was also kind enough to provide us with a selection of bakery items for breakfast and probably the best croissants we had ever tasted. On the morning of our departure it was predicted to rain so he also took us to the train station. Thanks Pierre!
We had the most wonderful time in Avignon, and the part of this experience was Pierre’s home. We loved his apartment. It is very clean, well furnished, colorful and green – everyone who saw this apartment can say that it’s lovely green. The location is just great – inside the old city walls. The kitchen is functional, we cooked different meals over our stay. The bedroom has everything that needed. Pierre took care of everything, including parking space for our car and maps of Avignon, that was very much appreciated. We must say that Pierre is very warm and nice person, we agree with everyone who said that it was a pleasure to meet him. In the neighborhood there were nice restaurants and café, covered market is located in 10 minutes’ walk where we bought seafood, fruits and cheeses. Ask Pierre where to buy the best croissant in Avignon and have a try "sacristain" and "pain aux raisin". We highly recommend this place.
My first impression about Pierre was a cool man , then its changed to a warm, nice, helpful person. His place is in the city center ,super clean, tidy, very artistic, quiet and provides facilities for travellers. All the same with the description. He helped me to book the TGV train, explained what places to see, let me use his printer. He is an intersting person to talk to ;) try to communicate with my mom who doest speak English or french ;) you make our trip in Avignon unforgetable. Merci beaucoup! Terimakasih
Pierre was simply a perfect host. I will not give all the details as he went out of his way so much to make our stay a pleasant one that he may not be able to do as much for everyone else! He has a charming, small but very comfortable and clean apartment and was extremely kind and generous in every way and was considerate of our needs as travellers. He is also great company (and a very good harmonica player!) We would have no hesitation in recommending others to stay with Pierre.
Very nice room in a clean and friendly house! Inside the Avignon walls and close to the Popes Palace. The breakfast was great and Pierre very friendly and helpfull! Thanks!
