Our upscale guest cabin sits a short 13 miles from the boundry of Yellowstone National Park and in view of the ski runs of Lone Peak offering "The Biggest Skiing in America."
Our exquisite cabin has, until recently, only been available to friends and family. Now you too can experience this unique world. The moment you enter through the river rock stone entrance and the remote controlled privacy gate you know you have found someplace special. As you drive to your log cabin you pass a cascading waterfall, bubbling creek and our stocked trout pond.
Our fully renovated log guest house was at one time a Montana State chartered school for gifted children. Today it features a fully tiled travertine bathroom with roman shower, chef's kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and only the best for cooking and dining.
The cabin offers wireless internet, satellite TV with surround sound and XM radio. If that isn't enough to entertain you, your hosts offer a movie collection for your use of over 1,200 titles.
The river rock wood burning fireplace offers a heat-o-later warm air blower and you'll never run out of great smelling pine for your fire. The wood ceilings throughout the cabin are vaulted with log accents.
Your bedroom features a Queensize bunk bed with Irish Flannel sheets, down pillows and comforter and Pendleton blankets.
Your deck (complete with a stainless steel barbeque grill) overlooks the Southfork of the Westfork of the Gallatin River and is full of wild, cooperative trout. From it you have views of Lone Peak and Big Sky resort's ski runs.
The cabin is less than 100 yards from our 6,600 sq. ft. main home (also a custom log structure) and steps from our golf driving range. The property features the prettiest Bocce Ball court west of the Mississippi, a regulation horseshoe court and an authentic Sioux Indian tipi (in case you want to sleep out under the stars).
Your hosts are always available to recommend dining and sight seeing attractions, teach you Bocce Ball or show you the secret powder stashes at our two world class ski resorts. You can also arrange private or group ski lessons with me, a PSIA certified ski instructor.
Watch out for moose, elk and even regular visits from bears. After all, this is still the "Wild West". Montana is "The Last Best Place", wild but not uncivilized.

You know how sometimes you look at photos and are surprised and a bit let down when you see the actual thing? THIS WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE PHOTOS!!!!! Sorry to yell...but I wanted to make sure I got that across loud and clear. Barry and Zoey have such a beautiful property. So comfortable and welcoming. Very clean and had everything we needed. They were fantastic hosts - gave us lots of privacy but were there when we needed them. Barry was so accommodating. He even took some time to teach the kids how to cast in the trout pond.
The cabin is about 15 minutes from Big Sky Resort - we went ziplining and on an expedition up Lone Peak Mountain from the Resort Basecamp - which has tons to do for the whole family. Horseback riding and whitewater rafting were less than 10 minutes away. Of course, the river right behind the cabin was great for fishing and just hanging out. Lots of pretty trails nearby. I can't recommend this enough!
