Returned last week from a lovely stay at Joanna's place. She was away but we were welcomed by the lodger, Ben, and shown where everything was. He was friendly and able to answer queries about the facilities. Room was large and attractively furnished, bed really comfy.
Great base from which to explore Sheffield!
Very beautiful house with lots of unique things to see within the house itself. Felt like a mini museum. Not to mention that Jo and Pete are really friendly and warm and did everything to make you feel at home. Definitely one of our best airbnb homes thus far.
Very nice place to stay while in Sheffield. Joanna made us feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a creative and eclectic way. Being right on a major street meant the traffic noise was a bit loud in the busy hours, but died down fairly soon after we retired. Recommended!
Jo and Pete are fantastic hosts: welcoming, laid-back, accommodating and friendly. Their home is beautiful, each room better than the one before. The house is close enough to the city centre as to be within walking distance (although there are great transport links right outside the front door) but also far enough away so that you can get some peace and quiet. All the facilities from the WiFi to the toiletries were great and I would definitely visit again.
Joanna and Pete were very welcoming and their house is perfectly positioned near the centre of town. The room was ideal and the bed very comfortable. All in all a great experience and highly recommended.
Great place within easy walking distance of the train station - a true gem! Joanna and Pete provided a lovely experience for me as a first time Airbnb user. The room was beautiful, bed was very comfortable, and every effort was made to make my friend and I feel like we were at home. Joanna and Pete provided us with everything we needed - helpful tips for navigating Sheffield, umbrella, guide book, toiletries and great reading selection throughout the house. Truly a great experience and would go back to their accommodation if I returned to Sheffield.
Joanna and Pete were so kind, lovely and welcoming that it was a true pleasure to stay with them! The house is amazing and almost already worth a visit in Sheffield. It is not totally central but easy to reach by walking (15 min). Thank you so much for a short but very very nice stay!

About the Host, Joanna
We are Jo and Pete, two 30 somethings living in the wondrous city of Sheffield. We have a lodger called Ben who has a self-contained flat upstairs, but spends a lot of time with us too.
We are a musical family. Pete and Ben are in a band together and there's often music in the house.
Joanna is an English teacher at the university, so we love languages and different cultures.
We share our home with a little white cat called Martha who is a law unto herself.
