The attic floor of our apartment - a spacious room, a little longe and a toilet - is waiting for you! In our quarter there is everything you need (bar, restaurants, parks, laundry, ecc)...comprised bus to the city center :) Welcome here!

The space

The actic floor of our apartment is big and welcoming, ready to host everyone who is coming to Padova to visit this wonderful city and the close ones (Venice, Verona, Treviso, Vicenza...), but also to spend a short period for business or studies. Venice is just 30 km far and easily reachable by train!

There is free wifi access, the chance to have your own bathroom, free parking place and a small supermarket just down the road.

It is a calm area of the city, with the bus you can reach the centre within 15-20 minutes.

Please if you arrive for the first time by train, check the bus schedule (n.9, 22 and 42): they do not always run all night long, and anyway, I'd prefer you to arrive not after 21!

I'm not at home until 18:30 o'clock every day except the weekend, so I can only receive you at that time. If you need, I can ask someone to open you the apartment also before, but I need to know the time of your arrival at least two days before.

We hope you will enjoy your staying here :)
Looking forward to meeting you, see you soon!

Guest access

You can have
- wifi (turning on the modem - I'll show you where it is :))
- air conditioning (but do not exaggerate!!!)
- a bike if available (50 euros caution + 15 euros/day)

Guests staying more than 3 days can ask for the kitchen use.

Interaction with guests

I'm in the apartment normally from 18:30 o'clock. I'm reachable by mobile phone and airbnb mail.

Other things to note

Please remember there are no buses after 20.

After 20 you can use:
- taxi ((URL HIDDEN) tel +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (EMAIL HIDDEN) tel. for and from the airport: +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (EMAIL HIDDEN)
- (URL HIDDEN) a taxi service, but less expensive
- (URL HIDDEN) if you book in advance

I stayed at Ester’s place for over a week and really enjoyed the apartment’s relaxed atmosphere and quiet location in the eastern suburbs of Padua. It is a room-mate situation more than a hotel situation, which is fine with me as that’s closer in spirit to the real Air B and B philosophy, in my view anyway. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and a 22 minute bus ride (1.30 euro) from the main train station of Padua, which is just a ten-minute walk to Padua’s historical center, which includes the famous Scrovegni (Arena) Chapel with its frescoes by Giotto and the famous church of St Antonio, where Donatello’s statue of the ‘Gattemelata’ can be found. Padua’s real selling point for me was that it is a great location from which to make day trips to various other wonderful towns: Ferrara, Vicenza, Ravenna, Verona, and of course Venice. You can save a lot of money commuting from Padua to Venice, a ride on the train that costs 4.05 euro each way and takes about half an hour. Especially for those who are economizing, Ester’s place is a good option. Also, by her home are all the amenities you could want, including a grocery store right next door. The bus stop is right in front of her house.

The only problem I experienced at Ester's was the location. Although her place is only a 20 minute bus ride and the bus stops right in front of the apartment, it stops running at 8pm. After that it's either a 5 to 6 kilometer walk or a 10E taxi ride. Other than that the apartment is clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and plenty of room to relax.

Unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure to meet Ester since her father came to welcome us. The flat was Ok and so the neighborhood.

After many roundabouts in the car we finally found Esters spacious apartment. We had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed in the attic room.. Loved the rooftop view. We did not meet Ester but her friend Constanza was there to meet us and was very nice and helpful with places to eat, cafes and delicious gelato a stroll away.

Great choice. Very straight forward, easy to communicate with Ester and the place was comfortable. The apartment is accessible by bus...but I noticed there is a nice and flat bike path the entire way from the old city center. It would be a nice ride. Also... Gelateria Da Bepo is literally a 3 minute walk. This is one of the most famous gelato places in all of Italy. Many tourists miss it because it's not in the center.

Great stay in Padua! The bus station is super close, less than 500 meters and Ester gave maps to make everything simple. Each morning we awoke to an Italian breakfast complete with espresso and tea. The room had three beds, equally comfortable, and an AC unit that kept the room cold. The bus can take you right into the city, which is BEAUTIFUL. If I'm in Padua again, I'll definitely stay again, no complaints.

Ester's attic is a suite, bedroom, sitting room and bath. A huge space. The bus stops at the door for easy 15 minute access to the train station and the tram into the old town. The home is above a grocery store for easy shopping. There is full access to Ester's kitchen. If arriving by car she is a coupe of blocks from the highway exit. Ester is very helpful with site seeing information and general questions. She speak English and helped me learn some Italian words. A very comfortable and enjoyable experience.
