The space
This is an amazing property in a prime Paradise Valley location. The property boasts a catfish filled lake, running stream, bocce ball court, pickle ball, koi pond, 2 waterfalls, basketball court, volleyball court, pool table, giant 60-inch TV, and pool. As of September 1, 2021 we have installed a newly remodeled kitchen.
This is a 5BR (READ ROOM LAYOUT BELOW), 4½BA home with old southwest charm and gorgeous views. All of these amenities are EXCLUSIVE to the home, single tenant, and owners. They are NOT part of a neighborhood community.
This is a 1960's ranch home. Remodeled kitchen has stainless steel appliances, new 5-burner gas stove, granite tile counter tops, large center island & custom cabinets. The family room boasts a pool table and 60 inch TV. The guest rooms have been recently updated and remodeled with guest comfort in mind. The California king bed and queen beds are from the highly breathable Purple Mattress company (my favorite!) and amazingly comfortable. Our 4th bedroom has two twin beds and 5th bedroom has a full bed. Home has a total of 6 beds with the option of adding an air mattress in the family room if needed (for an additional $60 set up and break down fee)
The home has wood floors, satillo tile, and carpet in one bedroom. The master bedroom doors open out to the lush grounds & sparkling pool (heated on request for $75/day). All bathrooms have been remodeled with travertine floors. The laundry area is complete with front loading washer and dryer. And yes, unlike other short term rentals, you are WELCOME to use our washer and dryer, which is stocked with detergent.
The back half of the property has a lake, Lilly lined stream, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, ping pong table, citrus trees, bocce ball, koi pond, and catfish filled lake. This is a cozy and inviting home in the most amazingly tranquil setting.
The caretaker for the property, Clete, lives on-site in a detached guest house with his pups Nigel and Tootsie. He is available for assistance via text or in person (if you prefer) during normal work day hours. For maximum guest privacy, he keeps to himself during guest stays.
PLEASE NOTE: The private tennis court is reserved by the co-owner of the property on Monday, Thursday Nights from 6pm-10pm and Saturday mornings from 8am-12. The group accesses the court from the back yard entrance and they use the outdoor pavilion area for dinner or lunch. Please let us know in advance if this is going to disrupt your stay.
The tennis players use the tennis court and pavilion adjacent to the court which is located at the far north end of the 5 acre lot away from the main home. They enter from a separate driveway and do not interfere with the guests at the home.
You will have access to the pool, front lawn, entire home, backyard including tennis court (when it's not being used by my dad), basketball court and bocce ball court as well as the area around the lake and koi pond. The pool has a grill and gazebo area for relaxing as well.
The house has keyless entry for easy check in and check out. The house manager, Clete, is available to help you if needed via text. He is a permanent tenant who lives on property in the detached guest house and can help answer questions you may have.
The pool can be heated for an additional $75/day. We would need to know at least two days in advance to begin heating the pool.
Please note that weekends from October-April require a minimum 4 night stay.
In the Summer months, (June-mid September) the furniture around the lake and fire pit is put into storage for protection from the excessive summer heat.

Guest access
You will have access to all sport courts (basketball, pickleball, bocce ball, ping pong), pool, poolside BBQ, gazebo, front lawn, entire home with SHARED access to the tennis court (the co-owner will use on occasion). This is not a community property! It's a private 5 acre estate.
If you plan to use the tennis court, please note that you will need to bring non-marking tennis shoes. If you don't have any but would still like to play, inquire with our property manager to see if we have any back ups available. The court is reserved by the co-owner, my 84 year old dad, on Monday and Thursday in the PM and Friday and Saturday in the AM. The tennis players use the tennis court and pavilion adjacent to the court.
The caretaker for the property, Clete, lives on-site in a detached guest house. He is available for assistance via text or in person (if you prefer). For maximum guest privacy, he keeps to himself during guest stays and will only come out to help if requested.
This is a 5 acre estate and maintenance and upkeep is imperative to keeping the property looking its best. Please note that there may be maintenance, our pool guy, or landscape people on the grounds during your stay.

No parties of 15 or more are allowed in the house without prior approval.
The saltwater pool can be heated for an additional $75/day. We would need to know at least two days in advance to begin heating the pool.

This is a very quiet neighborhood. The gated home is perfectly situated if you're interested in biking, hiking, golf or spas. The surrounding lots are all on 5 acre parcels so there is a lot of privacy and peace in the backyard.
