I have lived an adventurous life and now am living into the adventure of retirement. I live full time in our home in Datil, NM. I weave in my Datil studio and write about wilderness spirituality. It is a joy to welcome people from all backgrounds to our yurt, and learning about what is important to them. It is our hope to offer each guest a refuge and a place of deeper connection and beauty.

During your stay
Carolyn is your main host. A retired Episcopal priest and Spiritual Director, she will honor your need for solitude, or offer a guided retreat with conversation. All spiritual traditions are honored.
For others who would like to weave, a loom might be readied for you to use (with advance notice, and additional charge) .
Our dog Chloe (CockerSpaniel-Retriever) is also happy to welcome you (and your animal companions).
Do it yourself breakfast is provided at the yurt. When convenient, we will be happy to provide a meal at the house. There are basic food supplies: a pantry of canned goods, spices, oil, flour, sugar, coffee and tea at the yurt. You will need to bring your own perishables and food for your meals.
