Secluded North Fork cabin in the woods with private beach across street. Walk/bike to ocean, farms, vineyards and more. Enjoy our 2+ acres (including a horse barn also available for rent separately). The house is at once rustic and luxurious (i.e. we got Peloton and hot tub). Perfect for families. Because we really use (and love) the home, amenities are made to make you feel comfortable. We are a writer and artist who have lived all over the world and have added special touches throughout.

The space
You're surrounded by nature, farms in the distance, protected lands, majestic trees, a sprawling lawn and water in walking distance, a small beach right across the street and a bigger one just down the road. Wake up to greenery and the phragmites blowing in the wetlands bordering our property. Maybe an owl or passing cranes. It is a poetic experience. We are okay with housebroken dogs but prefer you not bring them upstairs into carpeted areas. There is a safety gate at the top of the steps for this purpose, and your little ones.

We are an artist-journalist couple in NYC. We had been vacationing out here for years, stumbled upon this wooden cabin and barn across the street from the beach, sitting alongside an organic farm, literally covered in weeds. We researched the history of property, restored the main house and have dreams for the barn. We love our house because you wake up in the woods and then head to the beach or bike to the vineyards. We hope you do too.
