Welcome to your country retreat! This gorgeous private suite features a cozy king-sized bed, private bath, and a double bed. You also have access to a shared kitchenette and sitting room. This unique property was originally built in 1840, and comes with 10 acres of farmland to explore. Relax on the back deck, take in the mountain views, and get away from it all. We are tucked away and yet minutes from breweries, trails and more! Welcome to your country retreat!
The space
This gorgeous private bedroom is a part of a dedicated guest suite in our house, and includes access to a shared sitting area with a wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, and your private bathroom and bedroom. The king-size bed features a fluffy down comforter, cozy pillows, and cotton sheets. There is also a double bed so this room is perfect for family groups or friends! The room features a desk, rocking chair, and cozy love seat, plus an oversized closet. A luxe queen size air mattress is also available! Access to your room is convenient and secure- we have electronic key pads so you don’t even have to worry about keys. Your room is on the 2nd floor and has the best views in the house! You can gaze out at the gorgeous blue ridge mountains from the comfort of your bed. The entrance is only shared with any guest(s) staying in the downstairs bedroom, the owners do not access this space.
Guest access
Feel free to roam our 10 acres, kick it on the back deck, or lounge in the shared sitting area. The kitchenette includes a sink, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. We also provide coffee, cream, and sugar, plus dishes, utensils, wine glasses and a cork screw! There is a gas grill and fire pit available as well.
During your stay
All of our spaces are contactless check-in and out, and we might not be here during your stay. This house is our “home base” so we try to come stay as often as we can. If we are around we are happy to chat, show you the property, and provide advice on exploring the area. I grew up in the area, and am happy to provide tips for the best hidden spots and off-the-beaten-path local flavor adventures. We are always only a phone call/text/email away!

Please note that this is a very rural area- you might not have cell phone service, so be sure to enable wifi calling and texting. This suite does not include access to a full kitchen, only a kitchenette. The bathroom is not en suite but is directly outside your bedroom.
