Great bedroom close to downtown where there are many bars and restaurants. Public transportation close. Great for commuters and foreign guests.
Cute 1920's craftsman. Unique downtown Modesto home. Beautiful tree lined street.
Refrigerator in room, as well as a small eating area. Washer, dryer and kitchen available upon request.
Interaction with Guests
As much or as little, I don't mind showing guests around, or just being available for questions.
Nice weather, the trees keep the area from getting too hot in the summer. Pretty 1930's streetlights line the street, one of Modesto's oldest. Graceda park is 4 blocks away and the walking trail begins 2 blocks from the house.
The Downtown Transportation Center is a 16 minute walk. The Virginia Corridor bike trail starts 100 feet from the house. 99 is 1 mile from home.
Other Things to Note
The two bedrooms are joined together by a bathroom, called jack and jill bathroom. Each room has direct access to the bathroom making it more private.
No smoking. Be mindful of the neighbors and my cat. The living room doubles as my home office, please respect the space as such.
cassandras home is beautiful, cosy and clean. she´s a friendly and very helpful person. good place to stay!
Cassandra is a generous host, her room is clean and comfortable, I have a short and pleasant staying, recommend strongly!
Cassandra was a wonderful host! The guest room in her warm home was perfect for my husband and myself. She was kind enough to let us leave our belongings there on the second day so we could freshen up after the wedding that we attended in Modesto (since we had a long drive ahead of us). The neighborhood was very quiet and safe; would definitely recommend staying with Cassandra if you get a chance!
She was polite and all business getting right to the point regarding house rules, where to find things, and what her habits are. The neighborhood was residential and quiet. The room had a strong and unpleasant oder of cat feces and kitty litter.
Cassandra responded to my request almost immediately. I was grateful for that since I needed a place last minute. I arrived in the evening. Cassandra welcome me in and showed me around. She even offered me some soup! I was worn out from driving so I went to bed early. The bed was very comfortable and it was a quiet area so I slept great. I had to leave the next morning so I really can't comment on the area. Cassandra was very friendly and welcoming and I was happy to stay in her cute cozy home.
I didn't go there couse I would snow in the road. So I could get to her place. I'm so sorry about it, but I wish go there someday.
I stayed here in Modesto for about a month. The neighborhood was well maintained and the neighbors I interacted with were friendly. I spent quite a bit of time wandering around the city and the location is convenient for that. Cassandra was always helpful and made an effort to make sure I had what I needed and knew about the resources available in the town. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.
