Ada apartment was clean and in a good part of town. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed during our stay. However, the hot water was not constant especially on cloudy cusco days. Beside the hot water problem we really enjoyed our stay.
There were both pros and cons to this apartment. Things we liked were... It was in a good area; we enjoyed the neighborhood and thought that the combi rides into the centro with the locals made for a very real experience. There was a lot of natural light in the apartment. As many other reviews have noted, Ada Patricia's father was very kind and friendly and warm. When we arrived, there were some snacks and beverages and a booklet to greet us, which are always helpful. We were glad to have a washing machine, and the cevicheria on the first floor of the building was awesome. The apartment was mostly sufficient, and with a few small tweaks, would have been entirely so.
Our biggest complaint was regarding the host's response to our concern about lack of power and water. The apartment lost power multiple times during the month and was completely without running water for many hours literally every single evening during the entire month we stayed. Additionally, the hot water, which was wonderful when it worked, was spotty. We mentioned these problems to Ada Patricia's sister, as we were told to do, but remained flexible and worked around it. Ada Patricia's dad came by and looked at things, but nothing changed. When we brought it up to Ada Patricia at the end of the month, she was completely unapologetic and unwilling to work with us. We have never complained to a host on airbnb before and thought that utter lack of power and water was maybe a fair reason to do so, especially when our rent was 3x what most pay in the neighborhood and the problem was not a city-infrastructure issue, but only the single building we were in. We were quite shocked by the response we received. Airbnb helped us to resolve the issue, and we appreciate their help with the matter, but as a couple who rents our own property out, we would never have dreamed of responding to a renter with so little understanding as this property manager did. Additionally, drinking water and parking are extra costs, $50 a month each, the bed and chairs are uncomfortable, the kitchen is sparsely supplied, and the internet was touch and go.
We have never left a negative review, but felt it fair to be honest about our stay in Cusco. With a little bit of understanding from Ada Patricia, this could be a great option for a budget traveler to the region.
We had a lovely stay in Ada's place. The area is about 20 minutes out of the center but busses and taxi's are frequent and we enjoyed the commute with the local travelers. The apartment had everything we needed in it and the washing machine made a huge difference. When we needed anything, Ada, her sister Nathaly, her brother Alex and their father Ramon, were on hand to sort things out. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this apartment to anyone interested.
Has all the basics, a little on the cold side, but was offered a mini heater for an extra charge which we declined. Some extra smaller item would have helped such as dish detergent, paper towels, hand towels, etc, so we could avoid buying things we wouldnt need to carry to our next destination. Overall the stay was satisfactory.

The apartment was very clean and had everything that I needed to have a wonderful stay in cusco. Nice hot showers too!!
The Cusco-Los Alamos apartment we rented from Ada Patricia was 100-% satisfactory. Everything in the apartment was as described, including the efficiency kitchen & and bath which were very clean. We were met on our arrival at the Cusco airport by Ada Patricia's sister-Karen and father-Ramon, they were helpful during our 3-week stay at apartment. The apartment was conveniently located near Andina Univ. with nearby mini-markets, Internet Cafes, and city buses, all of which we used during our 3 week there. We very much enjoyed our stay in Cusco and highly recommend the apartment to all.
The apartment was great, and Ada was very accommodating. I recommend staying at her apartment for anyone going to Cusco.
We stayed at Ada´s apartment, it was OK, very well priced for Cusco crithsmas week, roomy and close to bus & taxis.
Our main concern before making the reservation was the price, We are driving from Alaska to Ushuahia in a sabatic year, all the family and starting the 6th month we must save money, tired of travelng and one or two nights hotels, it was great to been able to cook. the place was great for rest, visit Machu Pichu and make some maintenance to our SUV.
