My condo is a true urban oasis! It's in a quiet neighborhood with a huge back yard, but is right next to the subway and minutes from downtown Boston. You'll have a spacious private room with a queen bed, and keys to come and go as you please.
The bedroom features a queen bed with a down comforter plus extra blankets & a space heater (in winter) and air conditioner (in summer). The bedroom has built-in drawers and an armoire for hanging clothes.
You'll have access to my spacious, homey kitchen including a dishwasher, disposal, & microwave, and everything you'll need for cooking. The bathroom features a jacuzzi bathtub, and there are free laundry facilities in the basement.
My huge back yard is a real rarity in the city! The deck is a wonderful hangout spot when the weather is nice!
Be sure to check out the pictures and reviews, and get in touch if you have questions!
Towels and bedding are provided. I also provide household stuff like an ironing board, drying rack, hair dryer, first aid kit, sewing kit, soap, shampoo, etc.
I have lived in Boston for 20 years and have hosted at least 100 people from all over the world! I have a busy social life and am out of town a lot, so you'll have a lot of time and space to yourself, but I'm also accessible in case you have a question or problem. When you book I'll provide instructions on where to find the keys so you can check in and out any time. As a bonus, you'll also have access to my personal copy of Lonely Planet Boston, in which I have marked all my favorite activities and hangouts!
My place is in Boston's Mission Hill, about a 15-minute subway or bus ride to downtown Boston. It's a short walk to the Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Emerald Necklace park system, and a bit longer walk to Symphony Hall and Fenway Park. Mission Hill offers a big grocery store, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, and more. For the doctors, students, and researchers out there, it's also super convenient to Longwood Medical Area, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Northeastern University, Mass Art, and New England Conservatory.
My place is just a 3-minute walk from Boston's subway system (Green Line and buses) or a 15-minute walk from the Orange Line. You can get downtown in about 15-20 minutes by train or bus.
Other things to consider as you plan your trip.
1) The Hill. Mission Hill is a kind of steep, and my place is near the top of it! If you can handle 5-10 minutes on a Stairmaster you should be fine walking up it. If you have a lot of heavy bags, consider taking a cab.
2) Parking. There are a number of visitor parking areas in my neighborhood, but they all have 2-hour time limits. The limit is not well-enforced and only a $20 ticket, so I usually advise people to just go for it as the ticket is cheaper than garaging your car. Still, if you can avoid driving, that's for the best! Boston is NOT fun to drive or park in, and public transportation is great.
3) Before you book: please fill in your profile completely, including a photo. I am a single woman and need some idea about who you are before letting you into my house!
A real 5-star accommodation! Beautiful and very big apartment with living room, dining room, huge kitchen and the room is also spacious and nice. Bed is queen size and very comfortable. Victoria was very friendly and accommodating. She foresees the wishes and need of her guests and gives guidance to city and neighborhood. I had a perfect stay at her place for 9 nights! Thank you!
Victoria was great about communicating from start to finish and was a good host. Her place well located, close to public transit, comfortable, and just as billed. She was helpful with tips about getting around and was very considerate about accommodating schedule needs. We would not hesitate stay at her place again when visiting Boston!
We stayed with Victoria for three nights and really enjoyed our time there. There had been a lot of snow so Victoria was working from home and was there to greet us when we arrived. She's an excellent host and has two incredible cats! The flat was in a good location and was a great place to base our Boston adventures. Would definitely recommend.
Victoria is well organized and with her excellent description I had no trouble finding her place. She is friendly, uncomplicated and easy to get along with. She announced to me in advance that another guest is staying longer and made her own bedroom available to me which was totally fine. I also enjoyed the party with Italian food on the evening of my arrival as I was coming from the West Coast and thus did not need to sleep early. Internet worked well and I could use her guest bike to get around Boston on my free day which was great. One morning the toilet was blocked and she fixed it immediately. The only negative thing I can say is that the cleanliness of the kitchen may not be up to everyone's standard. I will definitely consider her place again next time I come to Boston, also because of the very convenient location close to the Harvard medical campus.
Victoria is an awesome host! She was very kindly and helpful from the first beginning until the end of my longest Airbnb experience. The house is very well equipped, warm and comfortable with a feeling of freedom. Victoria also introduce me to many social events with her friends and help me lot when I had complications to find a definitely apartment at Boston. Definitively I do recommend Victoria's apartment while visiting Boston and would come back to her place.
Victoria is the perfect host and my parents had a wonderful time.
Everyone should check out this place.
I had a wonderful stay at Victoria's place. The place was clean and had everything I needed. By the way the cats were super cute! Will definitely go back again and recommend it to friends.
Victoria and her cats are pretty nice. I could enjoy Boston and would like to back to there again.
Victoria is a super-friendly, well organized and welcoming host. We had a really great stay at her place where we felt like home. The location is convenient, very close from tramway and town center. We recommend it! Nico & Claire
It was really really great to stay with Victoria, the house was very nicely located, and thanks to her bicycle, I enjoyed a love cycling day around Boston and Cambridge. The house was clean, and she even did extra cleaning for me as I have cat allergies! It was such a pity that I was In Boston too short, and while there I was too busy to have more conversations with Victoria~I'd definitely stay again with her if I ever make my way back to Boston:)
