My condo is a true urban oasis! It's in a quiet neighborhood with a huge back yard, but is right next to the subway and minutes from downtown Boston. You'll have a spacious private room with a queen bed, and keys to come and go as you please.
The bedroom features a queen bed with a down comforter plus extra blankets & a space heater (in winter) and air conditioner (in summer). The bedroom has built-in drawers and an armoire for hanging clothes.
You'll have access to my spacious, homey kitchen including a dishwasher, disposal, & microwave, and everything you'll need for cooking. The bathroom features a jacuzzi bathtub, and there are free laundry facilities in the basement.
My huge back yard is a real rarity in the city! The deck is a wonderful hangout spot when the weather is nice!
Be sure to check out the pictures and reviews, and get in touch if you have questions!
Towels and bedding are provided. I also provide household stuff like an ironing board, drying rack, hair dryer, first aid kit, sewing kit, soap, shampoo, etc.
I have lived in Boston for 20 years and have hosted at least 100 people from all over the world! I have a busy social life and am out of town a lot, so you'll have a lot of time and space to yourself, but I'm also accessible in case you have a question or problem. When you book I'll provide instructions on where to find the keys so you can check in and out any time. As a bonus, you'll also have access to my personal copy of Lonely Planet Boston, in which I have marked all my favorite activities and hangouts!
My place is in Boston's Mission Hill, about a 15-minute subway or bus ride to downtown Boston. It's a short walk to the Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Emerald Necklace park system, and a bit longer walk to Symphony Hall and Fenway Park. Mission Hill offers a big grocery store, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, and more. For the doctors, students, and researchers out there, it's also super convenient to Longwood Medical Area, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Northeastern University, Mass Art, and New England Conservatory.
My place is just a 3-minute walk from Boston's subway system (Green Line and buses) or a 15-minute walk from the Orange Line. You can get downtown in about 15-20 minutes by train or bus.
Other things to consider as you plan your trip.
1) The Hill. Mission Hill is a kind of steep, and my place is near the top of it! If you can handle 5-10 minutes on a Stairmaster you should be fine walking up it. If you have a lot of heavy bags, consider taking a cab.
2) Parking. There are a number of visitor parking areas in my neighborhood, but they all have 2-hour time limits. The limit is not well-enforced and only a $20 ticket, so I usually advise people to just go for it as the ticket is cheaper than garaging your car. Still, if you can avoid driving, that's for the best! Boston is NOT fun to drive or park in, and public transportation is great.
3) Before you book: please fill in your profile completely, including a photo. I am a single woman and need some idea about who you are before letting you into my house!
We spent three nights at Victoria's home in Boston and were really pleased with our choice which was a welcome relief from hotel rooms. Victoria was very obliging with information and her home was conveniently located with easy access to public transport.
Victoria was not there during my stay but she was very supportive and on contact with me. She made everything is simple and easy. Her house is wonderful, clean and organized. Her house is my first choice next time.
Victoria's place was great! My wife and I stayed there for a week and it was a short ride to any of the great sites in Boston. We spent most of our time touring the city, but Victoria's place was a nice warm place to rest and plan the next day's events. I would highly recommend staying here! Thanks Victoria!
Our stay in Victoria's house was perfect. It was warm, comfortable and very clean. Comfortable bed and very accommodating. Easy walk to the MFA and Gardner house. Victoria was not there during the weekend, but was easy to reach via email. We were able to meet her and thank her in person before we left. Will definitely recommend and stay again when in Boston.
Victoria's place is one of the best I've ever seen since I started to book on airbnb.com. The appartment was unbelieavable great and comfortable, there was everything in it we needed and even more! Our room was perfect and the kitchen is really big. Victoria answered very fast and always asked if she could help or if we needed anything, we felt very comfortable. Thank you for this perfect stay!
We were provided with everything that we needed for a lovely weekend stay! The condo was spacious and comfortable, and entrance and exit was quite easy. I would absolutely stay here again next time in Boston.
A real 5-star accommodation! Beautiful and very big apartment with living room, dining room, huge kitchen and the room is also spacious and nice. Bed is queen size and very comfortable. Victoria was very friendly and accommodating. She foresees the wishes and need of her guests and gives guidance to city and neighborhood. I had a perfect stay at her place for 9 nights! Thank you!
I stayed in Victoria's apartment for three days during February. It was such a nice an pleasant experience. Her apartment is clean, warm, you have everything you need, I felt I was in my own home. I did not see Victoria there in Boston, but I talked with her on the phone and by mails. Being in her place you also could know more about her, how she is wonderful young person, her taste, her love for animals, her love toward people from all of the world, her amazing organizational skill, her love for art and haw she cares of many small details, so her guests could feel comfortable.I did not expect she is going to provide food for me, she provided fresh juice, milk, butter ,bread, eggs, drinks, vine, water , coffee, tea.....much more Her kitchen has all equipment if you like to do serious cooking. Also she gave me a special price, very generous, for what I am very thankful. It was very cold in Boston, slippery and icy, when I was there in February, her apartment was warm , she allow to rise temperature or use heater if you need it.She has additional blankets, pillow if you need it. I know aria and I found apartment easily. I could recommend Victoria's place to everyone because it is safe, clean, comfortable, well equipped, affordable, plus Victoria is very responsible toward guests, helpful, generous, fast in (email hidden) first experience with this agency and Victoria's lovely apartment is A+++++
Victoria was great about communicating from start to finish and was a good host. Her place well located, close to public transit, comfortable, and just as billed. She was helpful with tips about getting around and was very considerate about accommodating schedule needs. We would not hesitate stay at her place again when visiting Boston!
We stayed with Victoria for three nights and really enjoyed our time there. There had been a lot of snow so Victoria was working from home and was there to greet us when we arrived. She's an excellent host and has two incredible cats! The flat was in a good location and was a great place to base our Boston adventures. Would definitely recommend.
