Beaver Creek Cabin is a modern cabin designed to bring the outdoors inside. It's 15 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from Pacific City, Cape Lookout, and Tillamook, yet only 5 minutes from beer and cookies and pesto. Set on a 7 acre lot, it's remote enough to feel private, yet public enough to feel safe. Perfect for couples or families, amenities include modern convenience (dishwasher, wifi, roku) as well as the classics: sticks and stars and trails and trees.

The space
Modern and new... it's simplicity as luxury. It has heated concrete floors, propane fireplace, modern kitchen with dishwasher, wifi and smart tv, and great views all around.

Guest access
Set back off the road (but still within sight of it), there are trails and a handful of sitting spots throughout the property. There's also a fire pit, plenty of extra chairs, and even an outdoor soaking tub (and yep, it's got hot water).

Neighborhood highlights

The road is a relatively quiet dead-end country road with only a handful of houses and a now-defunct dairy beyond our place. To the east, there is public access to a lovely creek with a couple good swimming holes about two miles down the road and a logging road that goes up into the hills. To the south, within walking distance, there's a remote patch of the Siuslaw National Forest for dreamy walks in a quiet forest.

But it's important to note what's not in the pictures, and outside our control- we're kind of the dividing line between country and forest. Our place is dense and natural, but just a few hundred feet away we've got neighbors (very nice neighbors) who live in the country. The closest is a family with multiple kids, pets, and cars; and a love of tractors and pop music. Another neighbor down the road occasionally leans into target practice with his rifle. Most of the time it's very quiet and peaceful, but some days rural America comes alive and the quiet and peace we might desire are found inside or a little deeper in the woods.
