I have a small room in my loft where I live and work, in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn. It’s centrally located within three to four blocks of the F, G, R, 2, 3, 4, 5, A, and C trains, and a ten minute walk to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. It is located in one the trendiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, complete with fabulous restaurants, watering holes, and shops! The new Brooklyn Bridge Park is only four blocks from my front door. It has a very comfortable double bed, which also folds up to a sofa, a small frig, and hot pot. There’s wireless internet, hairdryer, and iron with ironing board for your use. A continental breakfast is provided every morning. The bathroom is shared, and has a bath with shower. I live in the back of the loft and work in the front. The guest room is just off my studio in the front. I have it set up so there is have plenty of privacy during the early morning, evening and at night. During the day, however, I will be working in the studio adjacent to the room. This is usually not a problem, since most guests are out during the day, seeing the sights of this wonderful city. If you expect to be spending a lot of time in the room during the daytime hours, this may not be the best arrangement for you. There is a cat that lives here besides me, so hopefully you are not allergic. (I do keep the cat out of the guest room.) And if you don’t mind two long flights of stairs, that would be helpful. This is a 138 year old landmark building, so no elevator! Previous to my art career, I worked in the hospitality industry, so I know a thing or two about inn keeping, and will do everything possible to make your stay an enjoyable one! I am gay friendly!
Please note that I am less likely to accept a reservation from someone who does not have a photograph and some information of themselves on their profile, especially if you have no previous reviews and ratings. Thanks.

Pam is a gracious and accommodating host. Her place is clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. Up two flights of stairs so you must be mobile. Great neighborhood on a fantastic stretch of Atlantic Avenue with a ton of restaurants, (good) bars, and interesting stores nearby. Thanks, Pam!
We had a great time at pamela's place. Pamela is very nice and have a lot of tips to spend a wonderful stay in nyc. The room is close to many subway station, and the neighbourhood is cool with a lot of restaurants and bars! The room is confortable and the breakfast tasty. We Will definitively go back to this place for our next airbnb experience in NYC.
Pam is such a great host and very helpful. I particularly like the breakfast she has ready at 8am! And of course the fridge and coffee maker in the room (she accomodated my tea preference by providing tea instead!). The accomodation was just perfect for me - near all the important places: food, groceries, subway, and even not too far to walk to Target (at Barclays Center). Don't miss the evening walk along the Brooklyn Bridge Park - as recommended by Pam. Thanks a lot - definitely enjoyed my stay there!
We had a great time staying with Pamela. She is a wonderful person and we enjoyed all our conversations. Pamela had great tips for activities and restaurants, even vegan and vegetarian, in the area. The room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Pamela has a great eye on details and her loft is filled with wonderful art and music. The area is excellent. There are a lot of restaurants and shops. The subway station is near by. You can easily get to any loction.
Very nice and comfortable and clean room;Pamela is friendly...and always willing to help for anything (email hidden)rfect zone near the city center and subway...
Lovely apartment! Great location! Gorgeous Pamela! My husband and I had a wonderful time in Brooklyn and happy to have met with Pamela! Recommended stay with her, because this apartment is located in a safe and pleasant area, and because you accept Pamela!

The Alchemy B&B was our first airbnb experience and it was great!
Pamela is a great host and we felt really at home. She has a lot of information to share about Brooklyn, things you can't find in a traditional tourist guide.
The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast that was served every morning was always a nice surprise.
We also liked the neighbourhood very much: some good local restaurants (thanks for the tips Pamela), shops, parks, etc. There were several subway stations nearby, which made it easy to travel to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn.
We would definitely recommend this place if you want to explore NY and Brooklyn in a different way.
I had a very good time in this b&b - the room and bath is clean and designed with lovely details but not overloaded.
There is even a fridge and a esspressomachine in the room!
Just the street and the staircase to the apartment make some noises.
Pamela is wonderful and there whenever you need her. I would always come back when I stay in Brooklyn.
It was our first experience with Airbnb and everything was perfect! Pamela is a very great host; she's very helpful! The room is quite small but very well organized and you can find everything you need (NYC maps, umbrella, hair dryer, ear plugs, Nespresso coffee machine...)
We also had a different breakfast every morning with warm toasts, muffins, waffles... We would love to stay here again!
We really don't have anything to add from the previous reviews because everything has been said. Just wanted to throw another 5 star at Pam's place. We actually booked at Pam's place after reading the reviews since it was our first time to stay at a B&B. We don't regret doing it.
The building has that old-time charm, the room was sparkling clean, breakfasts were awesome .
Pam was very friendly, helpful and hospitable. We felt right at home.
