Check out our Dog Days of Winter Sale through March 18th! $10 off and only a three night minimum.
I have a small room in my loft where I live and work, in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn. It’s centrally located within three to four blocks of the F, G, R, 2, 3, 4, 5, A, and C trains, and a ten minute walk to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. It is located in one the trendiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, complete with fabulous restaurants, watering holes, and shops! The new Brooklyn Bridge Park is only four blocks from my front door. It has a very comfortable double bed, which also folds up to a sofa, a small frig, and Nespresso machine. There’s wireless internet, hairdryer, and iron with ironing board for your use. The room faces a busy thoroughfare, and can be a little noisy at times, a fact of life in an urban environment! To remedy this, I have equipped the room with a white noise machine and earplugs for those who are light sleepers. A continental breakfast is provided every morning. The bathroom is shared, and has a bath with shower. I live in the back of the loft and work in the front. The guest room is just off my studio in the front. I have it set up so there is have plenty of privacy during the early morning, evening and at night. During the day, however, I will be working in the studio adjacent to the room. This is usually not a problem, since most guests are out during the day, seeing the sights of this wonderful city. If you expect to be spending a lot of time in the room during the daytime hours, this may not be the best arrangement for you. And if you don’t mind two long flights of stairs, that would be helpful. This is a 150 year old landmark building, so no elevator! Previous to my art career, I worked in the hospitality industry, so I know a thing or two about inn keeping, and will do everything possible to make your stay an enjoyable one! I am gay friendly!
Please note that I am less likely to accept a reservation from someone who does not have a photograph that shows their face (without sunglasses), and some information of themselves on their profile, as well as at least four I.D, verifications, especially if you have no previous reviews and ratings. Thanks.
I offer access to guest room and shared bathroom. I do not offer access to the kitchen.
Interaction with Guests
I give the guests plenty of privacy, but try to make myself available in the morning, to offer tips and recommendations.

Other Things to Note
There is a small frig in the room with juice, butter and jam. There is a nespresso machine in the room and tea is also available. Every morning at 8am, I deliver a bagel, scone, croissant, or something "bready" to a shelf just outside the guestroom, to have with the provisions already in the room. Please let me know if you have any allergies or food restrictions. Gluten free breakfast options are available!
I ask that you please read my entire listing before booking, to make sure this is a good fit for you. Check in is 2pm. Please notify if arrival is after 7pm. Check out time is 12 noon. We can possibly accommodate earlier or later, if requested. No smokers please. There is no smoking allowed in the building, or in front of the building. No more than two guests will fit in this room.
You should not mind two flights of stairs.
Please note that I cannot have children staying here due to the fact that I do not have the window guards required by law for children to live here. Also, my studio in the adjacent room has many tools and sharp objects that a curious child could hurt themselves with.
Pamala was a wonderfull host, she made us feel at home immediately, helpfull and kind. I will definitely recommend her :-)
Great neighborhood, and very convenient with a Trader Joe's and 24-hr RiteAid right down the block. Pam is great-- warm but gives you all the space and privacy you want. Definitely recommend!
Pamela was very prompt in her responses to my questions. She was friendly, welcoming and the experience was great! The room is as seen in the picture. She provides a little breakfast for you every morning, and there is a tiny fridge in the room with orange juice, plus there is tea, coffee and whatever else you might need. Plus Brooklyn is a nice little neighborhood to explore, outside of Manhattan. Place is also near to the subway and walking distance to many great restaurants in Brooklyn
Pam is the greatest host I ever had. She asked us if we drink coffee and she put coffee, tea, orange juice, and milk in the room. Every morning, she made break fast for us. That was amazingly great! The location is perfect, close to everything I need. The room is exactly same as the pictures on the list. The room is really cozy and clean. Overall, I had great experience with her and her charming apartment.
I had a great stay at Pamela's! The location is perfect, Cobble Hill, close to subway station Court St, Borough Hall or Bergen St. Pam's place is warm, charming and perfectly clean. The room is confortable, just the right size for me, and I appreciated to have a small fridge and a coffee machine for breakfast! Pam is an excellent host, nice and very welcoming, I felt like home and I definetly will stay again!
Pam is the nicest person ever, she was very hospitable and informative about Brooklyn and Manhattan too. When we first arrived Pam asked us what type food we like. She then printed up a list of the best restaurants for our taste. Pam even provided us with umbrellas on the day is rained! What I appreciated most though was when she allowed us to check out late the final day of our stay because our flight was leaving later that night. This allowed us to make one more go thru the city without having to drag our luggage behind us.
The room looks just like the photo. The bed is very comfortable for two people. A mini fridge was provided, so we filled it with snacks and beverages we purchased at the Trader Joe’s down the street. Pam also provided the coffee and creamer for the coffee maker in our room. The noise was a little loud from the street down below but was easily muffled by a portable fun in the room, and i didn't notice it all all when the window was closed.
The neighborhood was great. My girl and I felt safe walking anywhere, and every store and restaurant imaginable was in walking distance. I even found my favorite breakfast spot of all time, Clark’s Restaurant”.
Pamela is really nice, she is the perfect host. The room is confortable and very clean. In the other hand, the ubicacion is close to the subway station, so in a sort time you will be in Manhattan. If we ever come back to New York, we will definitely stay in your apartament. Thank you for everything.
I am an artist and have a small craft business in my loft, where I live and have my studio. I am lucky to live in one of the best neighborhoods, in one the best boroughs, the greatest city in the world. Looking forward to sharing it with you!
