Our closest hangout is Bar do Serginho about 3 minutes walk away, where you can buy food, beverage and other basics you might need, as well as have capuchino and hot sandwiches for breakfast, or pizza, capirinhas and beers while you shoot the breeze like the locals.

You can take the bus down to Centro, or walk 15 minutes down the hill to Gloria Subway, or to Lapa. Interaction with Guests
We live in the house upstairs and are available if needed.
Maximum 2 adult ( + small child) occupancy.
No smoking indoors, just outside in garden.
No pets, please.
Hairdryers are too much for the electrical circle and tend to blow the fuse so we ask that you do not use them in the studio.
The studio is owned by myself, a Canadian who has lived in Rio for 10 years, and my husband, a native carioca (local from Rio de Janeiro). We both work in the arts, are passionate about the city, and love to recommend off the beaten track places and events that most tourists never hear about. This is an awesome city is if you know a few people and your way around. I love to bring renters to the awesome bilingual yoga classes I can't live without, and my husband can't bear for people to leave the city until they have fallen in love with it! We live right abouve the studio so are close at hand to provide assistance when needed.
