Interaction with Guests

We will provide you with local tips and tricks which will make your stay in Milan even more interesting and safe.
In case of any issues or additional questions you can alway reach us by phone, watsapp, email etc.
The location just couldn't be better! Our home is situated right at the buzzing Corso di Porta Ticinese. Being very quiet inside (all the windows are looking inside the charming backyard/garden) its very vivid just once you exit the building. Designer’s shops, bars, restaurants, ice-cream shops, pharmacies and loads of street art you will find on our street.
Once exiting the building if you turn right in 2 min you are at Navigli Cannals - famous artistic district with art galleries, bars, restaurants. Come to see a flee market here (the last Sunday of the month).
If you go left in 3 minutes you are on the one of the most busy shopping streets via Torino. In few minutes it will lead you straight to piazza Duomo – the very center of Milan with its marvelous cathedral.
Two steps from our appartment there is a nice park "delle due basiliche" where you can relax on the grass after the long day of walks in Milan.
staying here you might not need to use public transport at all. All important sightseeings in the walkable distance.
But in case you need one - metro is 7 min walk.
There are some public parkings in the area especially in Vialle Gian Galiazzo (5 min walk from our home).
You should look for the blue line and the parking machine nearby (there are normally instructions in english on it).
There is also covered secured parking on Vialle Gian Galiazzo. It is more expencive. Some of our guests would pay 50 euro for 2,5 days.
Some people prefer to park the car at the last metro stations and then travel by metro to the city center.
All main attractions are in a walkable distance from our apartment while driwing/parking in the city center is tricky (as always in megapolices).
So maybe its a good idea.
Be aware that our street (Corsa di Porto Ticinese) is closed for the non-residents and parking there is prohibited so far.
Other Things to Note
Please, mind the check-in/check-out hours!
If you need a different time, please contact me before booking!
In case you need to check-in between 22.00 and 8.00 the additional fee of 30 euro is to be payed on arrival (as we will have to take a taxi to arrive and come back).
If you realize you are in delay please, let me know ASAP, so I can reschedule a bit my time.
Once we agreed the meeting time and you didn't call me you were in delay before I am waiting 30min on the spot and then I leave. Next check-in oportunity will be at 21:00
This way will be less stresfull for both you and me. While travelling things happen and you don't have to rush, be late, feel guilty, appologize. You can leave your luggage at the train station and enjpy the day at the city till 21:00.
I have a little baby and I can't afford waiting more then 30 min for those who are late. Thanx for understanding!
While planning the time of arrival to the apartment give yourself 1h for reserve. In Italy trains are in delay quite often, in the airport it can be a queue on pasport control or you can get confused on the small streets of Milan. If you arrive earlirer have a cup of coffee in the cafe next door or chill out on the grass at the park around the corner and text me I will rush towards you, it takes me around 15 min to get there.
Respect the neighbors
The location of the apartment couldn't be better : 15 min walk to Duomo; 5 min walk to Naviglia; 15 min walk to the Sforza Castle.
If you don't like walking : there's a tram stop almost in front of the apartment. The baker's is just 4 houses away.
The house opens onto a lovely patio, so the place is very quiet.
It felt like coming home each night.
Good balance price/quality.
The apartment was located in a good location. An easy walk to the City center. Lots of transportation options to and from the house buses metro and street car.
The apartment was nice and clean but warm at some times. The other downfall was the plumbing. The shower did not drain and the toilet did not flush. Other than that the stay was fine. I did have to call and clarify directions from the metro station.
We were welcomed by Guido, who did a good job of giving us practical information about the apartment. The flat is quiet and very convenient for the centre of Milan. Outside, the neighbourhood is extremely busy, with many bars, cafes and restaurants.
This is a simply furnished apartment which is a great base for exploring the city.
Although the area is busy, we felt extremely safe.
Jenny made us feel very welcome, suggesting several useful places to visit in the vicinity. The apartment is very comfortable, and was situated on an interesting street containing many restaurants and fashion shops. Visiting Milan again, we would certainly hope to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jenny & Guido's apartment! It is a clean, tidy and looked after apartment which is perfectly located within walking distance of the heart of the city. Very close to restaurant's, shops, public transport and a supermarket. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was in the evening! We slept very well indeed. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again to Jenny and Guido for their kind hospitality.
I would highly recommend Jenny and Guido's apartment to anyone looking for a place in Milan. The apartment is on the second floor but is an easy walk up, is spacious and very clean. The windows in the living area and bedroom overlook a courtyard and is very quiet and quaint. The location is great with a lot to see within walking distance and a lot of great places in the area to eat. At night the street is a large social area with many locals lounging around having a few drinks and passing the time. The apartment isn't facing the street, so any noise on the street at night is not a problem.
My boyfriend and I were rubbing late at the airport (delayed flight by almost 45 minutes) and Jenny was kind enough to wait for us at the apartment. She provided us with any information we needed in order to get around Milan and was only a call or text message away if we needed her. She is a very sweet woman and made us both feel welcome. I would book this apartment again if it's available for my next trip to Milano!
Thank you Jenny and Guido for opening your home to us and making it possible for us to explore your beautiful city!
