This place was immaculately clean, neat, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I didn't hear the regular tenant once (might have been away) and I heard no street or neighbor noise. The bed was firm and had no sag.
Eva gave me all the prior information I needed (a link to her video showing the place was helpful) and she answered my email questions promptly. When I asked her about the safety of the neighborhood at night (because a class I was in a few blocks away ended at 10:15 p.m.) she said she feels safe out at night but volunteered to come meet me and walk me back. That was really thoughtful, but I declined and did feel safe.
Eva obviously has made every effort to make her guests have a positive experience, e.g. putting up soundboard between this room and the next; leaving a set of dishes, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee makings, extra blanket, good lighting, DVD's, etc......
Eva's place is perfect in every sense.. it's on a charming street, the home is in excellent shape, and her taste in decorating is fantastic. You feel very welcome and at home. She's so kind, she even made a short video to walk you through check-in if you are unable to meet in person.
For guests considering this place, please note that the staircase you see in photos has a door at the top of the stairs that closes off this unit from the house and gives you complete privacy.
Eva was great. She made sure I had everything I needed during my trip. The room was comfortable and spacious. Any questions I had were already answered in advance either by email, text, or with written instructions in the room. I would highly recommend her room for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless, and its in a great quiet location near Golden Gate Park.
This was my first Airbnb experience. Eva's apartment is exactly as it is described. There is quite a bit of privacy with the separate entrance. Eva goes to great lengths to make sure the guests feel comfortable. The location is convenient and is close to the part and the Muni. I liked the neighborhood, too.
I enjoyed this cozy room in a lovely area of SF. Easy and private access, a separate door leading to the back yard, only a half-block to GG Park, and all the necessary amenities (coffeemaker, toaster, washer/dryer, etc) made this a great choice. And Eva was very quick to respond when I needed assist with the TV. I would have preferred a softer bed (just a personal choice), but I loved the place in every other way. Highly recommend it!
Eva's place is exactly as seen in the pictures. A comfortable room very close to buses, the Golden Gate Park and the Haight area in a nice quiet street. I liked the fact you have total privacy and you have your own toilet and even a microwave/fridge in case you want to have a quick snack. I didn't use them, but it was a nice touch.
I had a great stay there, and if I ever need to visit SF again I already know where to stay.
I have been living in San Francisco for the past 20 years in the same neighborhood. I love to hike, bike, read, do crafts, decorate and entertain.
