Eva is a wonderful host: she is friendly, conscientious, and aware. I have stayed at her place twice and she has been a gracious host on both occasions.
This was a terrific Airbnb experience. Eva's place is perfect for one person - plenty of room, quiet, clean, comfortable, and a great location on the edge of Golden Gate Park in the upper Richmond district. I appreciated the nice touches, like a private refrigerator and a couple of dishes to use, and while the bathroom is small, it is completely private, which is a great feature for the rental, especially considering its price. I also found working with Eva to be transparent and simple - no difficulty in planning arrival, checking in, and checking out. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was very nicely furnished and really comfortable, things were chosen with care and nothing was flimsy. Everything worked as expected, the internet, which was very important for me because I was on a business trip worked without a hitch. The private entrance was very convenient and I loved the view out of the backdoor to the soccer field. The street was very old San Francisco and there where coffees and supermarkets in walking distance. The streets were quiet enough, so I could bike around. I only saw Eva at the end of my stay, because I was mostly out, but everything worked out per email without any problems.
I had a wonderful stay in Eva's cozy private room. The clean accommodation with the private bath and private entrance are very convenient and added to the safe and sound feel of her home. I really enjoyed the neighborhood, serviced by many bus lines and a very short 'downhill' walk into the Haight. With a Whole Foods nearby and the fridge, microwave and utensils, it was easy to prepare simple meals - when going out became tiresome.
True to the listing, I would not hesitate to make reservations with Eva another trip to San Francisco.
I very much enjoyed the 7 nights I spent in Eva's clean and cozy apartment. I was working for most of the time I spent there so didnt do much sightseeing around the area unfortunately but found the street to be nice, safe and quite. I needed a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to come back to after a long day of work. Eva's place met all of these needs. The daybed was also suprisingly very comfortable. Eva was easy to reach and communicate with through email before and during my stay. The check-in / check-out process was simple and efficient. I would recommend this listing to any friends / family coming to SF.
Eva's place is wonderful and very true to its description. The room is very cozy and has everything one needs for a short stay - there is a private bathroom, private entrance, a closet, a fridge, a TV, and a desk! The apartment is located close to the park and the University, great location. It's perfect for a single person, but may be a little too small for a couple.
I did not get to meet Eva personally, but she stayed in frequent communication throughout my stay, which made everything very easy. She even sent a welcome video to me prior to my arrival!
I would definitely recommend Eva's place.
Perfect place for me during my stay - very clean, good location, quiet, and for a modest price. As a previous long time resident of San Francisco, I appreciated coming back "home" to Eva's little room! It was very easy to arrange scheduling with Eva and she is both prompt and flexible. I would definitely stay here again!!
I stayed at Eva's place for a week long work trip and the room was perfect. It was very easy to get downtown to the financial district on the bus. The ability to come and go when I needed to was a nice convenience. The set up of the room was ideal - very comfortable, nice to have a private bathroom and the pantry area was great to keep basic groceries in for the week. Eva was extremely hospitable and it was a pleasure to to stay at her place.
Eva's place is fantastic. It has a separate entrance, is very cute, warm, and cozy. I enjoyed my stay very much. Eva makes things very convenient - she sends you a youtube video with directions if she is not able to meet you when you arrive. It's located very close to Golden Gate Park, and it's a great location if you like running/hiking. I would definitely stay again, if I were in town.
Thanks for hosting me during my stay in SF in Nov, 2013. From your place, I was able to explore the Haight-Ashbury District, as well as run in the Golden Gate Park. It was very convenient to get to both places, as well as to take a bus to Union Square.
