THE HOUSE
Enjoy our spacious, inviting, and kid-friendly 3-story Dutch Colonial style home located four blocks from Golden Gate Park and one block from the University of San Francisco in the trendy Nopa neighborhood. Our home is a true "only in San Francisco" experience being a secret hidden house built and tucked behind a traditional street-facing Victorian.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS
Our home has 3 bedrooms - The Master Bedroom, the Bird Room, and the Kid's Tree Room - and 3 full bathrooms. The Master Bedroom is a huge, airy top floor room with a queen bed and a second full-size futon couch accommodating 4 adults total. Additionally, 2 more adventure seekers and star-gazers can pull down the trap ladder in the master bedroom to sleep in a loft. The Master Bedroom comes with its own restroom and claw-footed bathtub. The Bird Room - our lovely guest room, nicknamed for its fun decor, has a queen bed for 2 overlooking a garden. The Kid's Tree Room sleeps 2 children with a twin size loft bed and a toddler size mattress (52") underneath. Both the Bird Room and the Kid's Tree Room have acccess to a bathroom down the hall with full bath and second restroom with a shower. Our common areas include a large open-floor plan living room, kitchen, and dining area - all on a different floor than the bedrooms which is excellent for noise control. The kitchen is not a chef-grade kitchen, but it has everything you need including a jumbo fridge to get the job done. There's also a large outdoor deck with gas BBQ grill and another small outdoor space as well – rare for San Francisco. Laundry and dishwasher onsite – also rare for San Francisco. We also offer free wireless internet and a bag of delicious organic coffee to keep you revved for adventure!

US
If you have questions about the area or need suggestions on what to do, we'd love to help. We're both Bay Area natives and have lived in the city for 16 years. We love day adventures, hiking, food, wine, and seeking out new favorite bands. We're also are avid runners and sports enthusiasts.

THE LOCATION
Our neighborhood, called Nopa for North of Panhandle, is the most centrally located in the city – in fact our cross street is Central Avenue, the median of the city. The area is frequented on site-seeing tours for its classic Victorian and Edwardian San Francisco architecture. It also boasts some of the best restaurants in San Francisco such as Bar Crudo, NOPA, Wine Kitchen, Vinyl, and Bistro Central Parc – plus we’re around the corner from Starbuck’s and Lucky’s Market if you’d rather take advantage of our kitchen. Our house is walking distance to the famous Haight Street district, Panhandle Playground, Alamo Square and the Seven Sisters (famous Victorian homes), Buena Vista Park, USF, and the Divisadero shopping & dining corridor. Thinking of heading downtown or to Golden Gate Park? Lucky you, we're right on the Muni line that will take you to either destination in a jiffy.

GETTING AROUND
There is non-metered street parking or we can make a garage space available for an additional $25/night. Public transportation is very convenient - we're lucky to live just blocks from four different bus lines. The 5-Fulton stop is half a block away running and will take you through Golden Gate Park all the way to Ocean Beach if you head East and all the way downtown and the Ferry Building if you hop on heading West. The Hayes-21, Masonic -43, and Divsadero-24 bus lines are also easily accessible. Zipcar and City Car Share also have numerous cars nearby.

About
We're a fun and active family of three (mom, dad, and 7-year old son) living in San Francisco, CA. We love skiing and snowboarding, biking, running, and exploring our amazing city as well as traveling to other cities. Before having our kid, we traveled extensively throughout the world and we want to do the same with our son. As a family, so far we've explored Mexico, the Grand Canyon, Florida, Belize, and a whole lot of Tahoe. We also love our latest adventure as hosts on airbnb. While we're not traveling, we hope to bring the world to us.
