I say you in wich mode you can arrive to the house:
from Firenze Santa MariaNovella (FI SMN) to my house, you have 2 good choise :
or with train from FI SMN trainstation to Prato CENTRALE, 2.50 euro for person for one way, during travel into 25 min. ,
and from Prato centrale trainstation to my house, to walking, into 10 min.
or with bus, you can take in LARGO ALINARI (in the corner of Mcdonald outside of FI SMN trainstation)
have a CAP bus (usually are BLU,) for Prato D (like DIRECT) ,
you buy a ticket 2.60 euro( in CAP shop) for person for one way ,
travel during into 30 min. , and your bus stop in Prato Centrale trainstation
from Firenze Airport :
have a bus stop to Prato in front of airport (travel during into 20 min.) ,bus stop name is the Prato Centrale trainstation. is the same bus like Fi smn
from Pisa Airport:
have few trains DIRECT to Prato Centrale
you can take a train to Firenze SMN and change to Prato Centrale
or you can take a train to Viareggio/Lucca and change to Prato Centrale
have a train to Prato Centrale trainstation
you can choise 2 solution:
take a train like eurostar/pendolino, are more fast but very high price (if you dont find a good offer) but arrive to florenz and you must change and come back to Prato Centrale.
you arrive to Bologna, and change train, and take for Prato Centrale, is more ceap, and the time difference of the during of travel is into 30 min. or max 1 hour . i suggest this solution :-)
from Roma and Sud Italia:
you arrive in Fi Smn trainstation and change for Prato Centrale

Bambina is a very nice person! The appartment is cleaned and the balcony very cute where you can eat outside! We had a good stay there!
A delightful balcony room; clean and neat. Host was most helpful with area information and maps.
The river walk to and from the train/bus station was brief but always enjoyable and had most interesting wild life.
Trains were especially convent to visit all of Tuscany. Only one half hour to Florence's central station.
The lovely apartment, the friendly hosts and the convenient location made for a perfect time in Florence and Tuscany
I stayed with Bambina for almost a month while studying at Monash University. She graciously allowed my boyfriend to stay with me for the first two weeks and we became pretty good friends with her! She and Alex were both very friendly and funny and gave us good advice on places to go and how to get there. Alex took us to his friend's restaurant up in the hills for ridiculously amazing traditional Tuscan food. He also took me to see a beautiful old park in Prato, and to dinner at his friends house so I was able to meet a few more people during my visit. Bambina took me to a couple awesome pizza places and gave me a bag of authentic Prato biscotti as well as a delicious little cake that was also made right there in Prato. Both Bambina and Alex were very gracious as they picked us up from and dropped me off at the airport in Firenze, and Bambina provided me with a key to the apartment and didn't seem troubled by my comings and goings. Bambina worked from home sometimes and would occasionally have clients come to the apartment when I was there. It didn't bother me, and I hope I wasn't an inconvenience for them. The apartment itself was perfect - in a great location perfect for me to walk to class and city centre, and right on a gorgeous river walk that provided quick, easy access to Stazione Central where I took trains many times to Firenze, Roma, Piombino/Elba, Pisa, Cinque Terre, etc. The building was very old and had been fully remodeled to look modern, but kept some old world charm with wooden ceiling beams and a stone shelf in the corner. Beautiful! The neighborhood was mostly quiet and felt very safe. There is a fully stocked kitchen that I used to cook some days and had a separate shelf and drawer in the fridge to keep my food. The bathroom is nice, the water pressure and temp in the shower were always good. The balcony was the perfect place to hang out with some vino and take in the views of Tuscany. The only downfall was with staying up in the loft, the heat would all rise and could be pretty bad when it reached 90s outside. But other than a few hot days, the temperature was fine and the open windows and a fan made it better. And of course, open windows brought a lot of mosquitoes, which we tried to control with a plug-in repellant, but there's only so much you can do for those pesky little guys. Of course, I need to mention the doggies! Alex and Bambina have two fun little dogs that love to play with guests and each other. Although Bambina only had them a couple of times while I was there, it was a blast having them around! Overall, I had an amazing trip and I think I was pretty lucky to have...
Alex greeted me as a host and waved me goodbye one month later as a good friend. The apartment is spacious, clean and within walking distance of everything you should need, including buses and trains to Florence. His mother is kind and caring and he has two adorable young dogs who very much like to greet visitors. This was my first Airbnb experience and it was brilliant!
Both Bambina and Alex are lovely people and the location makes it very convenient to the central train station and the historic centre of town.
Perfect for anyone who wants to be close to Florence yet a more authentic Italian lifestyle in Prato.
