Ideal West Village location at corner of Bedford and Christopher streets, a minute walk from famous Bleecker Street and two blocks from beautiful Hudson River Park. The apartment is located in the Greenwich Village Historical District, and is a part of a Greek revival townhouse build in 1847. The building and the apartment are well preserved and maintained. The apartment is very close to shopping, cafes, galleries, bars ,all kinds of restaurants and much much more, everything is nearby including grocery shops, laundry services, playground for kids and all kinds of transport possible to all over Manhattan and outside (Subway, Path train, Buses, )
This is a great, cozy, warm, fully equipped and very comfortable apartment. One out of two apartments in a private town house, 5-6 steps above street level with a very nice private patio/ garden.
Perfect for 1 or 2 couples, a couple with kids or 2 singles.
A perfect place for a great vacation in NYC.

Tair was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. We needed to check-in 2 hours earlier and she was accommodating. Cute apartment in a great neighborhood and convenient location. Checking in and out was very easy. Plenty of towels and extra sheets and blankets to make the stay comfortable. The only issue we had was with the hot water in the shower. It was barely luke-warm. Other than that, the rest of the stay was enjoyable.
We took Oded and Tair's place for our great niece and her friend, 2 young women just turned 20, on their very first visit to NYC. The apartment was perfect for them. They happily wandered around the village and found lovely coffee in a different place every day and felt like real New Yorkers. Thanks for this wonderful gift to these girls who left LOVING New York.
Tair was the perfect host. Helpful and communicative throughout. I was very ill withe flu at the end of my stay and she kindly let me stay past checkout time right till the last minute she possibly could.
The apartment itself was very cosy with plenty of space and such a great location. You really can't get better if you enjoy the West Village. Christopher St and W4 street subways are close and there are loads of great bars and restaurants right on the block. It really felt like having my own little place in the West Village, which was exactly what I wanted for 10 days. It was my first air bnb experience and I would definitely do it again.
Oded and Tair's apartment is cosy and clean and has all of the necessary amenities. It is in a fantastic neighborhood and only a block away from the subway. I recommend it.
My Husband and I had a great stay at Tair and Oded's Apartment. It was a good size for the two of us.And my daughter was able to stay a couple of nights on the fold out sofa bed. There was everything we needed and plenty of hot water when showering..The heating worked very well so the Apartment was always warm..We didnt cook at all as there were so many great eating places in the neighbourhood. The Apartment is in a fantastic location and is so handy to so many places. We walked almost everywhere and the subway is just down the road..It was very convenient. The Village is a great place to stay as its so interesting and full of great shops and Restaurants..Tair was always easy to contact and the Apartment Manager, Yossi was great..We didnt have any problems with anything at all. I would recommend staying in this Apartment. Thanks Tair!.
The place was clean, reasonably quiet and matched the description well. I would stay here again. The shower needs a little TLC is all.
The apartment was good-sized and clean, with good water pressure, a comfortable bed, and very convenient location. We walked to a Thai restaurant (Pinto), a diner (Sweet Life Cafe), and The Little Owl. All were very good. The Hudson is a few blocks west, the Metro two blocks east.
We used email and cell phones to contact Tair and Yossi about three things, which were all resolved:
1) Getting the code and keys from the lockbox.
2) Silencing the smoke alarm, which was chirping because of a low battery.
3) Checking the thermostat, which was dangling from the wall with no power indicators.
The convenient location was sometimes accompanied by noise. We could hear and feel a periodic rumble from the nearby PATH train. Our first night was a Saturday, and fairly loud until 4AM with loud bar visitors and some car horns; the next two nights were quieter.
Our overall experience was very positive, and we'd recommend our hosts and the apartment to anyone wanting to stay at a great place in the West Village.
We stayed in Oded and Tair's apartment early September 2012. You really couldn't ask for a better location. Wonderful place to have breakfast called The Path just 100 metres from your front door which is very popular with local folk artists and singer/songwriters. The subway is just down the street and you are just a short walk from Bleecker Street and The Village. I highly recommend taking one of the Heritage Gourmet Walking Tours of The Village - gives you a great feel for the area not to mention the great food and we went back to a couple of the places to eat in the days following the tour.
The apartment is great, with a lovely courtyard out the back and patio that you can sit out on and watch the passers-by on the street. We would definitely book this place again.
I spent two weeks in NY for a combination of work and vacation and have never felt so lucky as I did to find Oded's apartment. This is an absolutely perfect location in the West Village! The bedroom is large for Manhattan standards, and the living room is even better, and if you're a TV person there are large HD flat screens in both rooms. The kitchen is a bit on the small side, but I never used it anyhow so it was actually perfect for me.
Oded was out of town during my visit, but his cousin Yossi was there and met me when I arrived and made me feel very at home. He and Yossi both checked in on me via phone an email multiple times during my stay which was a great touch. I also went for runs almost every morning right from the front door, you're only three blocks from the west side highway jogging trail which is a beautiful run.
Also, there is a private terrace that is even better than in the pictures, unfortunately it was too cold while I was there so I didn't use this trip, but will absolutely use it next time (and I will be back for sure!)
Thank you so much Oded and Yossi!
My colleague and I were visiting NYC to attend a film festival. We were looking for a neighborhoody place in the city that would give us a the true NYC experience at a reasonable rate with good access to subway lines. We were most fortunate to find Oded's place - close to several subway lines, great bars/coffee shops/restaurants in and around, laundry services a couple of houses away. Oded was not in town, but his cousin Yossi took care of us. He was extremely responsive and easy to get to. The apartment is great, there is even a small outside area to enjoy your morning coffee if you so wish. The apartment is clean, very spacious (good for up to 4 people), with a small but well organized kitchen and of course, it is in one of the most happening neighborhoods in the city. I would absolutely come back here for my next visit.
