Your warm and cozy home away from home, with fully stocked kitchen, great view and tons of privacy, centrally located between 2 world famous national parks - Crater Lake - deepest lake in USA & Lava Beds/caves & Mt Shasta - tallest volcano in USA!
I live in scenic Klamath Falls located in Southern Oregon. I take pride in making my home a sanctuary away from the hub bub of the public, and ensuring complete PRIVACY and ANONYMITY! Let me know what you need and I will do my very best to give it to you and make your stay pleasurable and relaxing.
I live alone with only a mountain behind me, overlooking the city, yet only 5 minute drive from downtown. Only traffic on my street are my neighbors... who would not recognize anyone unless they were Bing Crosby. ;) LOL.
I am a mom, gramma, daughter, sister, friend, and I don't smoke, am not a partier, (unless on a Runaway Tours trip for Jon Bon Jovi, but then it's still good clean fun;) have no pets any longer, and only drink socially, live alone, so it is a peaceful & in a very quiet area & discreet home to stay in. It's not a palace, but it's homey. The perfect centrally located place to recharge in between the many adventures available! My home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 square foot home, with a view of gorgeous Mt. Shasta from my front deck and a wonderful mountain behind me to hike on. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, I have access to 3 queen pillow top airbeds as well.
Note: this is my home in a quiet, private location on mountainside. I've lived here for 30 years & raised my children here. It is not a "condo" with paper thin walls in a building with 9 condos in it. My fully stocked kitchen is FULLY stocked... not just salt and pepper and with plenty of utensils. It's not a mansion, just my home :)
This is the perfect place to stop and rest if you are traveling through Klamath Falls, but it is also the perfect alternative to a motel for Business people, or for Locum Tenums that need a temporary place to stay while working here. It's a very quiet and peaceful place to be, which is also why I have had musicians and actors stay here incognito. Full privacy. Nobody knows you are here.
Besides the multitude of hiking opportunities, I do have a treadmill in my "back room" available for your use.
I'm renting my entire home. Master suite has King size bed, and has it's own bathroom with double sinks and duo shower heads. Since this is my home that I actually live in, the entire closet will not be available in Master Bedroom. There are 2 more bedrooms with queen size beds in them, washer and dryer, and FULLY stocked kitchen in my quiet and peaceful home. There's a TV in living room. Also FREE Wi-Fi.
I also have 3 more Deluxe Queen size airbeds if needed for an extra bed in one of the bedrooms, AND in the living room and back room.
I have a huge leather sectional in my living room, that is very comfortable and could possibly sleep 2 more people on it. (1 on each end) So there are 6 beds and the sofa in living room. There's always floor space for sleeping bags too.
People come from all over the world to take pictures of our unique collection of birds on and around Klamath Lake (10 minutes from my home) and Tulelake Wildlife Refuge.
I am only an hour away from world famous Crater Lake.
The Oregon Shakespearean Theater (known all over the world) is an hour's drive away, as is the world famous National Lava Beds with it's mysterious underground caves/caverns to explore.
The area is well known for it's hiking, fishing, hunting, sailing, and much more.
Wonderful photography opportunities!
My home is 3 miles from "downtown" and 6 miles from Sky Lakes Medical Center (our hospital) and OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology).
The Steens Sports Park is only about 1 mile away from me, too.
I do not have any pets due to allergies. If you bring your pet, you may keep in the garage or crated in back room, or in the fully fenced in back yard.
I'll need to know what your time of arrival will be. Check in is normally 5:30 since I get off work at 5:00 weekdays, but if other arrangements need to be made, please let me know. I will greet you, show you around, then I will leave and stay at my brother's home up the street.
I WILL NEED AT LEAST 3 DAYS NOTICE TO RENT MY ENTIRE HOME. Thank you :)
And PLEASE follow my driving instructions for getting to my home, because, everytime someone has used their GPS, for some odd reason, it takes them on the longest routes possible! My directions are the shortest to my house. And when arriving, please park up along the right side of my house up on top of driveway, on the flat side.
Check out what's playing at the Ross Raglund Theater for a concert or a play... or the Pelican Cinema movie theater.
Must see Crater Lake! Like No Place Else On Earth
Crater Lake has inspired people for thousands of years. No place else on earth combines a 2000 ft deep, pure lake, so blue in color; sheer surrounding cliffs, almost two thousand feet high; two picturesque islands; and a violent volcanic past. It is a place of immeasurable beauty, and an outstanding outdoor laboratory and classroom.
Adventure at the Lava Beds
Lava Beds National Monument is a land of turmoil, both geological and historical. Over the last half-million years, volcanic eruptions on the Medicine Lake shield volcano have created a rugged landscape dotted with diverse volcanic features. More than 700 caves, Native American rock art sites, historic battlefields and campsites, and a high desert wilderness experience await you!
Interaction with Guests
You have complete privacy in my home, very quiet neighborhood on a mountainside, only traffic is who lives on the street. If you hear anything at all, you might hear the chirping of birds in the mornings. I check you in and then leave. I am available though anytime, as I will be staying just up the street during your stay.
What I love about my neighborhood is the quiet and privacy of it. Hear the sweet harmony of the birds chirping, watch quail run by, or an occasional deer off the mountain. Also the breathtaking view overlooking the city and Mt Shasta, and the calmness of viewing my backyard... an entire mountain, which by the way is great for hiking.
There is public transit in Klamath Falls. There are car rentals available at the airport. The airport is just about 6 miles from my home. And plenty of parking at my home. There is a shuttle to and from Medford, OR which is 80 miles away and has the closest large airport.
Other Things to Note
My home is a great central location to many areas of interest. And it is not just an empty condo, it is a home, very homey and comfortable and a kitchen filled with everything at your disposal. Steen's sports park is just about a mile down the road, and Klamath Falls is home to Kiger Stadium!
People that stay with me USUALLY drive up from or down to San Francisco (same distance away - I'm right in the middle), make a pit stop here and since I am exactly centrally located from alot of sights, take in Crater Lake National Park and/or the Lava Beds National Monument and sometimes Ashland which is a quaint little town that homes the world famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival .. and the Britt Festivals a little bit further... oh and Lake of The Woods is only a 45 min drive from my house, oh heck there are too many hiking and wilderness areas to explore to even list! You drive right by Mt. Shasta to get to me, and I look out at Mt Shasta from my front deck (when there isn't smoke!). It's only an hour drive away from me too. It's the 2nd highest volcano in the USA! And then during summer months, there's the Klamath Falls Farmers' Market which is a 5 minute drive from my house. Wow, I just realized I am right in between the highest volcano in the United States AND the deepest lake in the United States. You can see how you can spend a whole week at my AirBnB home with all these day adventures to experience! Then some just do NOTHING but totally relax in the quietness of my backyard on the mountain side, listening to the birds. Well then there's the occasion business person in town for meeting and is sick of the Shilo ... or the overflow from weddings and class reunions, etc. I even had a Locum Tenen (temporary doctor) stay here for 3 months with me!
NO SMOKING or animals INSIDE of house. Crated pets are ok in back room or garage, and I do have a fenced in back yard they can run free. I just can't have pets running through my home due to allergies, and their nails scratch my floor.
No drugs tolerated, but alcohol is fine.
Must thoroughly enjoy yourself and make yourself at home! :)
Let me know if you run out of breakfast food, and I'll bring you more!
Teri is a wonderful host, the place is very nice and homely. Every thing is clean and well organized. And make you feel very comfortable when you stay. We had a group of 5 people, and we spend most of our time chill in the house, all of us enjoyed staying there. The place is very quiet and safe, the view is good you can see the whole town when you sit in front of the door. Teri provide us breakfast with what we want eat.
We would definitely recommend to stay here.
Beautiful house with an awesome view of Mt Shasta. Ideally located between Crater Lake & Mt Shasta, both of which were on our itinerary. Very comfortable for 12 of us who stayed together. Teri is very accommodating. She had no complaints even if we arrived very late for our check-in & graciously allowed us to use her printer to print our boarding passes for the flight back.
Teri's place was perfect for a group of 5 old friends getting together for a wedding weekend in Klamath Falls. We felt right at home, as the place was clean and comfortable, and everything we could need was already there. The location was great as it had the hills in the backdrop but still a good location for getting around town. I would highly recommend Teri's place.
We had a fun time staying here during our trip to Klamath Falls area. Since this is the house where the owner lives, we felt very much at home and it is exactly what we wanted. We went with friends and though we were a larger group and we all fit comfortably in the house. Overall, it was cozy, comfortable and homely.
I strongly recommend Teri's house. Me and my friends felt at home while staying there. All facilities are just awesome! Great place to stay if you plan to visit Crater Lake or Mt Shasta.

This is truly your home away from home. I take pride in making my home a sanctuary away from the hub bub of the public, and ensuring complete privacy and anonymity! I can interact with you, or give you complete privacy, it is all up to you. Let me know what you need and I will do my very best to give it to you and make your stay pleasurable and relaxing. I love making people like they are family coming home to visit.
I live alone with only a mountain behind me, overlooking the city, yet only 5 minute drive from downtown. Only traffic on my street are my neighbors... who would not recognize anyone unless they were Bing Crosby. Heh heh ;) You might have an occasional deer visit you to eat apples from my trees, or be entertained by the huge family of quail that live in my bushes and sometimes come out and run around the yard and neighborhood basking in the sun. I enjoy a BBQ, beer or glass of wine on back deck, enjoying the evening breeze off the mountain. Coffee enjoyed in morning either back deck, or on front deck gazing out towards majestic Mt. Shasta & city.
I am a mom, gramma, daughter, sister, friend, and I don't smoke, am not a partier, have no pets any longer. This is a peaceful & very quiet area & an extremely discreet home to stay in. It's not a palace, but it's homey. I enjoy taking pictures of all the breathtaking scenery that God has surrounded me with. I was born in Los Angeles, California but I grew up here. I enjoy spending time with my 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren, going to concerts and meeting new people. I love chocolate, wine with dinner & music, it soothes my soul, and speaks when there are no words. My favorite band for the last 31 years is Bon Jovi (for many reasons, on many levels) so prepare to see my special "BonJovi" back room, filled with special memories of the people that have enriched my life, and the entire rest of my home filled with photos of my special family who are the center of my universe.
One of my many BJ song lyrics motivate me to live: “It’s My Life, it’s now or never, I ain’t gonna live forever, I just want to live while I’m alive, It’s My Life!” And another BJ song, “Welcome to Wherever You Are, this is your life, you made it this far, be who you want to be, be who you are, remember that you’re perfect, God makes no mistakes”
As you are reading this, I hope you are having a joyful & peaceful day!
