The space

Beautiful renovated 2 bedroom apartment, nestled on a quiet block on the edge of Clinton Hill/BedStuy. The neighborhood is rich in culture and foot steps away from Clinton Hills, Fort Greene, downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The neighborhood offers a cozy coffee shop (Civil Service) three short blocks away and three full service restaurants (the Black Swan, Pilar and Coladors) four-five blocks away.

The "G" train is three blocks away at the Bedford/Nostrand or four blocks to the Myrtle/Willoughby train stops. In fifteen to twenty minutes with a connection to the "L" you can be in the city and get off on the East or West side of Manhattan.

If you want to stay above ground and ride the bus to downtown Brooklyn, the B38 and B44 are a block away. You can also walk 4 short blocks over to Myrtle Ave. and jump on the B54 and ride down Myrtle Ave. and jump off at any of the many restaurants, bars, stores and coffee shops along the way.

Pratt University is walking distance. The BARCLAY Center and BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) are a couple G trains stops away along with loads of shopping and a connection to the Long Island Railroad, C, D, 2, 3, 4, 5, N, Q, R subway lines.

Inside you will find great furnishings, art and comfort. Thrown in to make you feel more at home is a Washer/Dryer, Dish Washer, Direct TV and Internet.

It truly is a gem and when you compare what you get to what hotels are offering..this is a steal! This is truly for people who want to be true New Yorkers...actually Brooklynites while they are here.

Decent place to sleep, but I'll have to try somewhere else the next time I come up. I've stayed at other places from here that supplied ample towels, but not here. I normally bring my own if I am driving, but we flew so I didn't bring any....The ac didn't work, but I figure that's an NYC thing as the restaurants we went to were rather hot as well. Great dorections for almost any and everything- where to leave trash, where to go and how to get there. There were a few other things, but I guess you get what you pay for. We weren't there very long so we took it with a grain of salt. Decent area- I felt safe.

We enjoyed staying at Antonio's whose flat corresponds to the description. Excellent communication and very nice place, easy to walk to the metro.

Disappointed with apartment for the price. The area was very run down. All the bed linen, towels and furnishing was very worn. View of outside to the back garden was littered with rubbish.

Sorry you were so disappointed. I would have really appreciated you contacting me during your stay of 6 days instead of waiting until review time to complain. I have great reviews so maybe Airbnb is not for you. The fact is that Airbnb is for people who are kind enough to share their homes with other people to stay for way less money than staying at a hotel. I would suggest you stay at a NYC hotel in the future. Since you think the price is so high for a two bedroom, the neighborhood is so run-down along with all the other negative comments you made, you may be better fitted to a hotel that would cost about $600-700 a night for half the space. However, I do thank you for being respectful of my house. I am disappointed that you would say such negative things without saying anything to me first.

Antonio's place was just as pictured. We loved the neighbourhood - it was located perfectly for what we came into town for. Antonio was great about communication and answered any questions we had about the neighbourhood in a timely manner. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet and residential, but easy access to anywhere. We also loved the luxury of finding 2 bedrooms at this price. Definitely recommend, will be coming back!

Life is a gift...open it! I live by this motto and encourage all to do the same.

I love different places and people. I always wonder what it like to live in another place so I am always curious about culture. I have traveled to Europe and all around the USA. The thing that I find most interesting in every place I've gone are the people. My favorite destination so far is Paris...but I am willing to challenge that.

I am a social person who prefers a quiet dinner over a loud club. I enjoy learning and listening and sharing.
