The room is about 20sq.m (215sq.ft), with a queensize (150x200 cm/60x80 inches) sofabed.
The room is in the apartment where i live.
There is a large kitchen/dining room available for cooking and eating.
The bathroom, with bathtub/shower and a washing machine at your disposal, is the only one in the flat, so it’s shared
Breakfast is included in room price.
Sheets, blankets and towels are included too.
There is free wi/fi broadband at your disposal.
There is a bookshelf in your room, so, if you stay for several days, I may happen to need access for a few minutes (whenever suits you best, of course). Apart from that, you will have complete privacy; the room is right next to the front door and does not pass any other rooms.
The apartment is on the 5th floor, with no elevator, in the Romolo/Porta Genova/Navigli/Bocconi area. The street is very well served by public transport: the ringroad buses (90/91) and the trams (3, 15) running directly to the center in 15 or 20 minutes are at the doorstep; the Romolo metro station on the green line is three bus stops away (or 10 minutes by foot).
The area is nice, with two supermarkets within a 5-minute walk, various pubs, restaurants, little food shops, bookstores and record stores, a public library, and the Auditorium of Milan. And of course the Navigli, Milan's famous canals.
Please don’t smoke in the house.
Please contact me and introduce yourself before booking. Since this is the home where I live, I like to know something about the people I will host.
Inoltre l'appartamento è vicino a dove dovevo andare.
bella casa, ospite molto simpatico, grazie!
Nice flat and very accomodating host !
I'm not sure anything I say will be particularly new compared to what's already been said. Though I suppose beyond that I would add that from spending the week in Milan and sharing with Andrea there was always a great degree of trust which I hope was always mutual. Moreover from my arrival and most my stay iv'e always been able to contact him and seek advice on a number of things. I felt the room was brilliant and a great little haven for me as an art student anyway and personally the bed I felt was fine. I felt at home to be honest. The only real downside I feel was that I didn't know enough Italian to communicate much more effectively as I think some things can easily be lost in translation, but overall not a bad experience at all really.
Andrea is a very kind host. He offered his father's bike when I asked if he might know a place to rent one. He was quite helpful giving directions and recommendations. I totally recommend staying with Andrea.
staying with andrea was a good experience. the flat is in a good location, very close to the centre (about 30 min walking and 10 min by tram). andrea is also a very nice guy. i enjoyed my stay there!
It was a nice stay with Andrea. Beautiful view of the sunrise if you can wake up in the morning from the room window. You get an entire room to yourself. The elevator was broken when I went so that wasn't so fun. It's all the way up 5 flight of stairs.
Half an hour walk from the D'uomo, but close to the Romolo train station (10minute walk?) and a supermarket right nearby.
Andrea was very nice and let us use his kitchen and everything. Helped us get used to the place and overall a cool guy!
