We would be very happy to accommodate you in our very-spacious, very-sunny and beautifully designed 1-bedroom apartment located on the Upper West Side.
We have a full kitchen with all the amenities foodies require; our living room has a 55' SmartTV; you'll have two desks for working and a very comfortable bed. There's an AC in both the living room and bedroom.
You'll also have a beautiful view of Broadway and, when the sky is clear, also of Riverside Park.
There is a doorman in the building after 4pm and a few friends who live in the building who would be happy to help should any problem arise.
The apartment is located two streets away from a 1-subway stop; there are many restaurants and bars right across the streets and three supermarkets within a short walking distance.
This apartment is ideal for anyone looking to stay a few subway stops away from Midtown or in the Upper West Side and around Columbia University.
A cleaning service will be hired a day before you arrive.
Fully furnished. Gay friendly
Strictly no smoking in the apartment.
We have a no shoes policy which helps keep the house clean.
Very clean and everything in the apartment is very good quality. Stayed there for a month and everything in the apartment was very homely and comforting.
This is one of the best location to stay in Manhattan .
Highly recommended, a true 5 star experience.
Niv's apartment was exactly as advertised + a few personal touches that I hadn't thought of like - a great supply of good quality towels, an item I'd requested already there for me when I arrived, wine and 2 glasses on the table, a nice view, excellent wifi (yay!), very efficient air conditioning which was GREAT since we were there on the hottest day so far this summer.
Everything worked as promised and the people in the building were super friendly. The location was perfect for us - so close to Columbia, safe clean area with many restaurants, a great grocer and drug store nearby.
So very cliche, but if I could give more than 5 stars I would! From our initial contact, Niv responded promptly, and was eager to offer any assistance he could in assuring that our experience in both his apartment & NYC was a positive one. From providing information on restaurants/attractions, to leaving a nice welcome present upon arrival, he made us feel more like house guests than paying customers. His generosity with items in his apartment was welcome & made us feel right at home! The apartment itself is in a great location, couldn't be closer to the subway, provided lots of natural light, was very spacious and clean, and also has the added bonus of a doorman. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough!
My son has just joined Columbia University. I was in New York for a few days with him as he looked for a place to lease and settle down for his stint in NY. Niv's place was extremely attractive due to the proximity to Columbia University. What made the stay special was Niv's genuine desire to make our stay extremely comfortable. The apartment was clean, bright and ventilated, had an outstanding location and was ultra comfortable. My days with my son were special and the completely hassle free stay, thanks to Niv, helped me focus on his settling down. I rate the stay 5 star and strongly recommend. Look forward to being back...an
Niv's apartment was lovely. It was perfectly place and close to shops, restaurant and the subway. It was also clean and well kept. Niv was very helpful and available whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend a visit.
We chose Niv's apartment because of the convenient location across the street from friends of ours, but the apartment itself and the wonderful neighborhood would have made staying there worthwhile in any case. The apartment, in a building across the street from Tom's Restaurant of Seinfeld fame, overlooks a nice Broadway intersection and is clean and spacious (especially by New York standards). We were happy hanging out there between excursions around the city and were particularly delighted that the bed was so comfortable. Niv and Gil were phenomenally responsive to our e-mails and were able to accommodate a last-minute early-arrival request. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay there again.
One could wish for little more from a New York stay than this clean, comfortable, airy perch high enough above Broadway to let the sun pour in, undeterred by cross street buildings. The building is safe, and well maintained, with a doorman after 4 pm. Niv and Gil are charming hosts, who sought to do everything to make me feel welcome. A neighbor down the hall was on hand with the keys to let me in when I arrived. I very much enjoyed my stay, thanks to this pleasant place to come home to.
The only small drawback would be for someone coming from a very quiet environment in the country - there is some traffic noise through the night - but frankly that is all part of the city experience, and I'm sure if Niv could, he would do something about that too.
Regardless, I woud certainly hope to stay here again on a future trip to New York.
