We left town and came back 48 hours for another lovey experience! It just keeps on getting better. High standards of professionalism, communication and most importantly hospitality.
I believe that it's not about where you rent as much as it's about who you rent from.
Thank you Liani:)
Had a great stay at the Brooklyn apartment - conveniently located and has everything we needed for our four nights in NYC.
Liani was extremely helpful and sweet, offering us suggestions for things to do in the area (and some excellent food recommendations!).
The apartment itself was fantastic, with plenty of seating and two very comfortable.
That being said, I would NOT recommend having SIX guests stay there - the "fold out" couch, while comfortable for one person, is far too cramped for two people to sleep without being on top of each other. We knew this going into it - Liani herself specifies it in the ad - but we thought we could make it work ... I wouldn't recommend it.
Great location, right next to a G train stop - but a little bit of a trek to get back into Manhattan in the evening!
Again, all around great experience :D
Thanks for taking the time for this review! I would definitely suggest the Garden Apartment next time for 6 guests. I generally don't allow 6 guests in that 2nd floor apartment for that very reason. It really is a squeeze. I'm glad you were able to make it work. In terms of transportation back from Manhattan, it shouldn't have been too much of a trek, next time remember the to the L train. Depending on where you're coming from in Manhattan, that's a 15min ride.
Comfortable and spacious apartment. Liani is a great host; responds to your requests/questions immediately.
Liani is a dedicated and super-friendly host, very easy to communicate with and very devoted to help - if help is needed. For example: When we were asking for a can opener, she brought it early next morning. We stayed 5 nights and the flat was clean, spacious and very accommodating.
Thanks again to Liani!
Enjoyed the apartment very much. It was clean and well equipped. The bed was most comfortable. And Liani is a gracious host! We look forward to another visit.
We enjoy ;-))
We were slightly unlucky that there was no water between 8am and 4pm for three days. This was quite inconvenient when traveling with three kids. However this was totally out of Liani's control (construction work on the street). And the reaction of Liani was extremely forthcoming and nice (she left us generous compensation for the inconvenience + some nice gifts :-) ).
The area is not the most beautiful one but the apartment is nice and has few key benefits: Metro just cross the street, nice cafe (Tiny Cup) and nice bakery / "organic shop" (Cinnamon Girl) next door.
I can recommend this apartment and we would probably use it next time (website hidden): Both Liani and her daughter were nice, friendly and helpful.
Liani is a fantastic host and is very accommodating. We stayed in the Brooklyn Apartment for a month and loved it. We felt at home and found everything we needed very close by. It was warm and clean and right across the street from the subway. Liani went out of her way to bring us a spare set of keys and the key to the mailbox as I needed to have something posted to me. The neighbourhood is great, the people are very friendly and we felt safe coming and going at all hours of the day and night. The tiny cup café downstairs makes great coffee and a fantastic breakfast! The pizza across the road is good too, and they are open 24/7 if you need some fuel after a big night out! Thank you Liani for being a great host!
This was my first time with Airbnb and it was fantastic! My friend and I stayed in Liani's apartment for a month whilst we were in New York and she could not have been more accommodating. We really felt like we were at home! Cinnamon Girl next door was a great place to get a coffee and people watch and the subway was so close! The apartment itself was great with a fully functioning kitchen - really helped us save some money on eating out all the time and the beds were so comfortable! Overall our whole experience was a great and we would definitely stay with Liani again next time were in New York
Thanks again Liani!
