I have a beautiful bedroom available in a 4 bedroom apartment in trendy and charming Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If the calendar shows as booked, feel free to contact me anyway as I sometimes have availability for another bedroom in the same apartment.
Just 4 blocks from the Bedford Avenue stop on the L line (a mere 5 minutes from Manhattan), the location can’t be beat. What’s more, this neighborhood has been featured as one of the new spots to visit while in New York City. There are plenty of boutiques, small businesses and art galleries as well as delicious restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Plus two parks, one with a variety of activities and a weekly green market, and the other with a beautiful view of the East River and the Manhattan skyline.
Speaking of which, the rooftop in the building is equipped with a deck, chairs and even grills… and another postcard view of the Manhattan skyline.
Radiant and spacious, this private bedroom is the perfect place to stop for a few days. Whether you want to relax or go out to the city, you will have an inviting place to come back to at the end of the day. With a huge window looking out onto a tree, you can see the squirrels and the birds as soon as you wake up. It's really lovely and makes it into a sanctuary away from the noise of the city, while still being conveniently close to it all.
The bedroom is furnished with a bed, two side tables, a desk, and a built-in closet, and has plenty of extra room for anything else you might want to bring. The bed is partially tucked into a nook (the room has a fat L shape), so it gives it a sense of coziness.
The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size fridge and a new stove, and you’re welcome to make use of them anytime. A variety of teas are available.
The bathroom is spacious, has tons of storage and a full bath tub for those cold days in which you need to thaw out with a bath. The showerhead has 6 different settings for a spa-like experience. Towels, and natural hygiene products (shampoo, body wash and conditioner) are included in your rate.
The large living room is bathed in light from huge windows. There is a lending library that you’re invited to make use of.
Wireless internet is secure, and there is free laundry in the building. All of this is included in your rate as well.
From time to time, there might be workshops on spirituality, yoga, food, art, massage and other interesting subjects held in the living room. You're welcome to participate as part of your stay in this oasis in the middle of bustling NYC. For guests who are not participating, the living room will be off-limits for the duration of the workshop (usually just a couple hours).
-All towels and linens
-Free and secure wifi
-Free laundry in the building
-Use of kitchen
-Spacious private bedroom

I want my guests to feel at home, so please feel free to keep stuff in the fridge, cook in the kitchen, chill in the living room, or take a relaxing bath. All I ask is that you clean up after yourself and make sure spaces are clean and ready for others to make use of them after you're done.
You'll also have access to free laundry in the building, as well as a fabulous rooftop with a breathtaking view of the Empire State building and the midtown Manhattan skyline.
Please note: while there is an elevator, please ask me before using it as it requires specific instructions.
Interaction with guests
I'm always available to answer questions about the neighborhood, restaurants, things to do, etc.
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: this listing is for a private bedroom in a 4 bedroom/1 bath apartment.
Sharing the bathroom is not usually an issue, as people tend to have different schedules.
****IF YOU HAVE READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION PLEASE ADD the word/s *MirrorMirror* in your message. After hosting for a while, I've had amazing experiences but have also come across some people who are not aware of how Airbnb works, the rules or that they are in someone's home and sharing it with others. I strive to create a beautiful, homey, and safe environment and experience for my guests, and want the utmost respect and kindness in my home. If you value and want to be part of creating the same, you're more than welcome to stay at my place. :) ****
This is a safe space for fun, exploration and transformation. Please take advantage and feel free to be yourself. The only restrictions are as follows:
Please be respectful of the apartment and other guests.
In order to keep things cleaner, we ask that you leave your shoes at the door.
You're welcome to use the kitchen. Condiments are available for your use in the top right cupboard. Feel free to use anything in there.
After using the kitchen, make sure to wash your dishes and wipe the countertop down. If there were any spills or splattering on the stove, wait until it cools down and clean it up.
Recycling bins are designated and available in the kitchen between the stove and fridge. Everything that goes in there must be rinsed before being thrown out. Not only do unrinsed items not get recycled, but not doing so creates unpleasant smells in the house. Speaking of which, beer bottles and cans must be taken out to the recycling container outside the building after you're done with them (otherwise they stink up the apartment).
Please take out the trash when full. There are 4 plastic containers to the left of the building entrance on N9 Street: the 3 large ones are for regular trash, and the small one is for the recyclables (use the paper bags next to the recycling bins in the apartment to take the recyclables out to the container outside). There are additional plastic trash bags under the kitchen sink to replace the one in the regular trash can.
There are easy-to-care-for plants in the apartment. Please water them if needed. The cactus and succulent only need a little water, while the other larger plants (money tree and coleus) need about 1.5 cups per week.
Other than that, there no smoking or drugs of any kind are allowed in the apartment but you can go to the gorgeous rooftop for a smoke if necessary.
You're welcome to have friends over to hang out or for dinner, but no amplified music or parties are allowed in the apartment or the rooftop. In addition, inviting a lover is fine as long as you're respectful of the rest of the people in the house. Planned visits by friends or family need to be approved in advance so the apartment doesn't get too crowded.
Please check with other guests before planning a gathering at home or inviting a friend to visit you in New York. The apartment is big, but there is only one bathroom so it's best to plan in advance so everyone is comfortable.
