Planning a trip to Paris?
Want to experience the real Parisian life in the chic Paris Rive Gauche?
Come and stay in this lovely upscale apartment, fully furnished.
This charming 2 room apartment is located at the heart of Paris, in the central 7th arrondissement, in rue Cler, near Invalides, Eiffel Tower, rue de Grenelle, rue du Bac.
Rue Cler is a very lively local market street: just get down and you'll get delicious bread, cheese, vegetable, fish and meet as well as nice bars and restaurants that will become your headquarters.
Once you get in the apartment, everything is quiet again : a small entrance will lead you to a big living and dining room with an open kitchen ((fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, washing machine etc). In the living room, there is a sofa bed that unfolds in a comfortable double bed, as well as a single bed.
Back in the entrance, you can get to the charming and cosy bedroom with a comfortable double bed. From there, you can get to the beautiful bathroom and its authentic bathtub, and a big dressing both hidden behind a sliding door.
The apartment has been furnIshed with modern furniture, books and antiques which make it both comfortable and authentic.
3rd floor with elevator.
I can offer you more and give you a taste of the real Paris like only one native of this city can. I will give you the keys to plan an unforgettable and personally tailored vacation, everything from lodging to dining to entertainment to shopping.
No special house rule : just enjoy your stay here, respecting the place, the neighbours, and the things that are being left in the apartment to make you feel home. Treat them as they were your own :-)
Windows shall be closed when leaving the apartment, door should be locked... Well it's just as you would do if you were in your place, isn't it?
We stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights. On arrival we were welcomed by Sue who showed us the apartment and gave us recommendations on restaurants and patisseries in the area. She also provided a welcoming bottle of wine, cheese, bread and jam which were all delicious.
The apartment is very homely, with numerous magazines, books and maps on Paris which were very helpful in planning what to do each day.
The apartment is ideally located within walking distance to many of Paris's famous landmarks. It was a perfect retreat to return to each day after many hours of walking around this beautiful city.
I would highly recommend this apartment.
A friend had stayed at the apartment on Rue Cler for a month and recommended it to us. It was wonderful. Great location. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Easy access to the Metro. Lovely open air market just steps outside our door with fresh fruit, cheese, bakeries, meats, wine shops, cafés, etc.
Very comfortable apartment. Just right for our needs. It is on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken (seems to be a common occurrence) so if you have trouble climbing stairs that is something to consider. Also no shower, just a tub, which was not a problem, especially for my bath-loving wife ;)
Sue was wonderful to work with and very accommodating.
We would definitely recommend this to other friends.
Amandine's apartment in the heart of Paris was wonderful. The location was perfect, it was a short walk to the Eiffel tower, great restaurants, shopping, and very close to a couple of different metro lines that would get you anywhere in the city you wanted to go. The apartment itself was very nice and the perfect size for 2 to 4 people (there was 3 of us). We were greeted at the apartment and shown everything and had easy contact to Amandine and her associate Sue if we needed anything. There are only 2 things that I have that were negative about this apartment and really, they are small thing. The lift was not working while we stayed there so it meant that I had to carry 2 large suitcases up 4 flights of stairs and back down again when we left. The second thing was the spoors are very loud. they are very old hardwood floors, and creak a lot. Other than those 2 small things, the place was very nice and we would happily stay there again.
It was a fabulous stay in Paris! Rue Cler is a fabulous place to stay, near to boulangerie, fromagerie e very good cafes, and the apartment is very nice!
We enjoyed the wine and cheese in our reception day and the hospitality of Sue and Amandine.
My October 2012 month long trip to Paris was the first time I rented an apartment rather than staying in a hotel. My experience was exceptional and I would highly recommend this approach to anyone traveling to a city for over a week. Amandine was a joy to work with. She was so welcoming in meeting me at the apartment upon my arrival with bread, cheese, wine, the best wild blueberry jam, and lots of tips on how best to enjoy the apartment and the city. She was wonderful in offering recommendations of restaurants and events to try out. She arranged private transportation for me from the airport, which was wonderful after a long flight. She served as a great resource throughout my entire stay and made me feel more secure as I knew nobody else in Paris.
Now about the apartment - it has the perfect location just a few doors down from the beginning of the outdoor market portion or Rue Cler. There are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants to try out, lots of fresh fruit, cheeses, boulangeries and wine shops - you never have to leave the area if you don't want to. But when you do, the Metro station is very close by, only a 5 minute walk. I loved that the area is lively without being too loud, and that no matter what time of day or night, I always felt walking on my own. I walked to the Eiffel Tower on several evenings (10 minutes) and other days I walked to the River (10 minutes). The Orsay Museum, Invalides, Rodin Museum, and several other attractions are also close by. Another great plus is that Rue St Dominique, a road with several wonderful, well reviewed famous restaurants, is right next to the apartment. I would recommend Thoumieux, Cafe Constant, and Cocette.
The apartment itself is very comfortable. It actually feels larger than the pictures show. The sitting area is bright and spacious. The kitchen in well equipped with everything needed. The bedroom has a very large walk-in closet as well as a large bathroom. The bed as well as the futon in the sitting area were both very comfortable. The weekly cleaning service was wonderful in that I did not have to worry about washing towels or linens.
The only problems I had were regarding the phone in the apartment, which was not working during my visit. Though Amandine supplied me with a local cell phone which was helpful, I did spend considerable time and money going to get it recharged. So if having a phone is important to you, check to ensure its working before your trip.
I would highly recommend the above apartment to anyone visiting Paris. I had a wonderful time. The month flew by very fast. I look forward to my next trip and returning to this perfect apartment in the 7th.
we stay in this lovely apartment from 6-13 June 2012. Amandine welcome us with red wine, croissants, french loaf, butter, jam... etc. She also provides us with Paris city map and brief us on where to go around Paris and where to dine & wine. This apartment is conveniently situated near the market, a lot of bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, Metro stations just few minutes walk, Eiffel tower also just walking distance. The apartment is clean, cozy and nicely decorated. kitchen also equip with oven, dish washer, refrigerator, washing machine... great that i choose the right apartment. will definitely recommend to my family & friends to stay in Amandine's apartments =)

A Parisian at heart…
I was born in Paris 38 years ago (not so easy to find a Paris native in Paris!) and grew up in a milieu where French art de vivre is key.
I love Paris, where I have my habit but where I always keep room for surprise.
I’m the one, friends have always kept calling asking « where could I take my parents for dinner » « what would you suggest for an anniversary », « It’s so sunny today, where can we have a brunch ?
Just like you…
I love travelling, discovering new parts, going out to concerts, movies, exhibitions, partying or spending quiet times with family and friends by the fire place in a sunny park .
I love good food, good wine, and I feel truly sorry when I see disoriented tourists sitting in a tourist trap where I wouldn’t go even if paid.
I decided it was time !
After studying in HEC management school and working for 10 years in big advertising agencies, I left the top management position I had achieved, deciding that it was time that I launched my own business, make something that I really liked. That's how I founded my own business, with this ambitious project of making you experience Paris like only a Parisian can.
Looking forward to seeing you in Paris ! :)
