Beautiful 2 bedroom house, with a beautiful garden with an outside seating area and a rocking chair and hammock under the shade of the palm trees.

The space

A beautiful 2 bedroom home in the heart of Manuel Antonio, open kitchen and living room with sofa bed. Large garden with eating area and hammock, surrounded by trees and lush jungle. The house feels secluded surrounded by palm trees and bushes, and daily visits from the local animals such as monkeys, sloths and Tucans. The main beach and National Park are 10min by local bus, and the bus stop is 5min from the house.

The town of Quepos is 5min by local bus has restaurants, stores and a wonderful vegetable and fruit market every weekend by the ocean walk, and the Manuel Antonio Beach is full of hotels, restaurants and the main beach is located there as well.

The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with a twin sized bed. A living room with a open kitchen and a full sized sofa bed that sleeps 1 or 2. The bathroom is newly renovated, surrounded by stone wall, and a window looking in to the jungle.
The house has hot water, fans in each room, very good wifi, and all bills are included.
The house also has an outside shower for the ones that want to shower under the stars ;-)

There is a big yard, filled with coconuts, mangoes and more.
It also has a huge terrace with a seating area where its great to have your morning coffee while observing monkeys daily visit and Tucans flying in the sky.

Its a very friendly area, great neighbors.

There is also a gardener that comes in 1x a week, and he can bring some coconuts down for you ;-) and I have a cleaning lady come in before your stay and after your stay.

My house manager can take care of all tours and car rentals.

Long term rentals available!!!

There is a public bus that goes to the local town Quepos and to the National Park in Manuel Antonio and all the beaches.

There is a newly renovated parking area so a 4x4 car is absolutely no problem. Well lit and lots of space for a car. I do recommend having a car so you can do trips to the waterfalls, and explore a few different beaches in the neighboring towns.

Guest access

Entire house and garden.

Interaction with guests

I like to give the guest space, but my house manager or I are always available if needed.

Other things to note

The house is located uphill, so to get to the house there is a short but steep hill, and then there are stairs leading down to the house, just something to keep in mind ;-) Manuel Antonio is all situated on a hill, except of course the beaches are down hill, but most homes and restaurants are up on the hill.

Great house close to Quepos and Manual Antonio. If you walk be prepared for hills but is still close to several places and on the bus route. It's garden and back patio are very enjoyable especially when the monkeys come through in the evening. I would definitely stay at this home again.

This is the perfect pad to crash at because it's in the middle of everything yet also very secluded! We woke up to monkeys and birds and felt like we had really found a place in the jungle! As for amenities, the house had it all, nice applisnces, beautiful stone flooring and bar area, and most importantly fans for the warmer, more humid times of the day. When the sun sets, it's very comfortable and although there's no AC, we didn't really mind! If you're planning on a trip to Manuel Antonio, I would 100% suggest this place! Bring mosquito spray and you'll be good to go! Thanks again, Jessica, we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Daniela!

This was a great place in Manuel Antonio. Close to restaurants, shops, and beaches, but also private and secluded. Thanks so much, Jessica!

The good thing about this house is its location. You are 5 min drive to the beach and Quepos. The garden was really nice, we saw macaws and monkeys daily, but if you have pets beware! The fence is not secure and one of our dogs actually got out. When we arrived Dennis took us to the house. He is very nice and answered questions quickly. He informed us that the washer and dryer were not functioning, which we found to be an inconvience later in our stay. We also found that both handles on the bedroom doors were falling off and one actually did. The drive from the main road to the house is steep and the parking spot is a little akward. One of our main issues was a hole in the parking spot that had metal running through it. Our son stepped through it and cut his foot. It was not bad but still an issue. We informed the host immediately. The parking spot was infested with ants as well making it difficult to get into the car with kids without getting bitten. All issues were communicated to the host.

Thank you for your stay! We have replaced all the door handles as soon as you told me I told Dennis to change them and the hole by the parking spot has also been filed with cemenet, as soon as you left. Yes the dryer and washing machine is now fixed it broke the day of your check in that's why I emailed you to ask if you need someone to come now or if you will not be using the washing machine for your 3 night stay, and you emailed me that you will not be needing the washing machine. So we did our best and would of had it fixed the next day but since you said you don't need it, we didn't want to inconvenience your short stay and fixed it after. As far as ants go, Manuel Antonio is surrounded by jungle we can't control ants in the house we somewhat can but in the garden of parking lot we definitely can't. Thank you

Perfect location! Beautiful place! Close to everything especially if you have a car! Taxis and bus are easy too!!!!! love the outdoor shower in fact never used inside one! Lots of sheets and towels. No soap or shampoo so make sure you have with you! Also make sure you have bug spray preferably with deet! There are tons of Mosquitos as you are in a house surrounded by jungle!!!!!!! Loved it just bring bug spray!!!!

We were really looking forward to staying in Manuel Antonio after a reservation in Jaco turned out to be inaccurate . We had a really hard time finding the location since the streets are not marked. Denis the house manager was communicative. We had spent three nights in Arenal because my daughter was very sick with bronchitis. Our previous host offered a free night until she got better. We contacted Jessica in the hopes of getting a credit or refund for the night missed. She did not reply until we checked in to the place. She was not flexible at all. When we arrived I noticed the neighborhood and it was a little scary. It is very close to the beach but up a very steep hill. The first thing we noticed was the unbearable heat, there were fans but it did not help. We opened all the windows and no help. The front door was locked so no access to the front of the house. We had a horrible night with all the mosquitos coming in and all the fans were going but , it was still hot. We contacted Denis the next day and he told us Jessica was not willing to spend any more money on any fans. That was the least she could do. We went for breakfast across the street at the Hostel and found out they had air conditioning and we paid for a room for two nights there. Had a wonderful time. We are not very picky just wanted a place to be comfortable. Sure its by the beach, but an air conditioner is the least you can do to accommodate your guests. Please consider making this change before you rent this place to anyone else. We ended up only staying one night. Have been to many airbnb properties and never had this experience with a host so unwilling and uncaring before. Highly unlikely to recommend!

I'm Jessica Sjoo, used to model for 14 years and now currently working in Real Estate in NYC. I have been using Airbnb for a while, and like it, and I have always had wonderful guests stay at one of my homes.

Airbnb is a great way to travel the world and stay in a nice home, and feel more at home. Even though the luxury of a hotel can be nice as well, having an apartment makes you feel less touristy, and you can cook, make your own tea, coffee and feel more at ease.

I hope that you will get a chance to stay at one of my beautiful homes, in the hustle and bustle of NYC or in the middle of beautiful beaches and nature in Costa Rica.
