Newly renovated 2 bedroom house, with a beautiful garden with an outside seating area and a rocking chair under the shade of the palm trees.
With views of the beautiful hills covered in lush jungle.
A beautiful 2 bedroom home in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Surrounded by jungle, waterfalls, and 3 pristine beaches. The main beach and National Park are 10min by local bus, and the bus stop is 5min from the house.
30min walking there is a big waterfall, suitable for swimming. The town of Quepos is 5min by local bus or a 10min walk and it has restaurants, stores and a wonderful vegetable and fruit market every weekend by the ocean walk, and the Manuel Antonio Beach is full of hotels, restaurants and the main beach is located there.
The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with a twin sized bed. A living room with a open kitchen. The bathroom is newly renovated, looks like a cave surrounded by stone wall, and a window looking in to the jungle.
The house has hot water, fans in each room, very good wifi, and all bills are included.
The house also has an outside shower for the ones that want to shower in the wild ;-)
There is a big yard, filled with avocados, coconuts, mangoes and much more.
It also has a huge terrace with a seating area where its great to have your morning coffee while observing monkeys daily visit and Tucans flying in the sky.
Its a very friendly area, great neighbors.
There is also a gardener that comes in 1x a week, and he can bring some coconuts down for you ;-) and I have a cleaning lady come in before your stay and after your stay.
My house manager can take care of all tours and car rentals.
Long term rentals available!!!
There is a public bus that goes to the local town Quepos and to the National Park in Manuel Antonio and all the beaches.
Entire house and garden.
There is a public bus that goes to the local town Quepos and to the National Park in Manuel Antonio and beaches
Other Things to Note
The house is located uphill, so to get to the house there is a short but steep hill, and then there are stairs leading down to the house, just something to keep in mind ;-) Manuel Antonio is all situated on a hill, except of course the beaches are down hill, but most homes and restaurants are up on the hill.
No smoking inside the house.
Be respectful to the nature.
Be respectful to the neighbors.
Lovely, small place surrounded by vegetation. Monkeys, sloth and birds visit. Very hot shower. Close to local bus route. Nice area. Some road noise.
Casa Daniela was private, clean, and welcoming. The garden was well-kept and full of wildlife, which we enjoyed while eating "al fresco" on the patio. It was easy and convenient to cook and do our own laundry in-house. The English-speaking caretaker, Dennis, made himself available to answer our questions, recommend local spots, and even book tours for us. We were able to park our rented Toyota Rav-4 in the space provided. We would stay here again and are happy to recommend Casa Daniela to anyone looking for a temporary home close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park.
We loved staying here! House is just how the pictures show. Very private and right in the jungle. It's clean and well maintained. Jessica and her manager Dennis were responsive and great to work with. Loved the outdoor shower! We saw so many animals around, and the neighbors were all friendly. Great location off the main road between Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Just a FYI- the drive up to the house is VERY steep/rocky and I would definitely recommend only using a 4x4 car if driving, and be aware that getting in and out can be a little tricky. The bus stop is just down the road though, so you can easily get away without a car if you're staying in town. Loved the jungle sounds at night, but you definitely can hear the main road as well. And there is no AC (as indicated), and it's obviously very humid there, so just another thing to be aware of. We just had all the windows open, and all the rooms have ceiling fans, and we were great at night. I would definitely recommend staying here! A much more authentic experience than a hotel!
Thank you very much for your stay! Yes the parking area is not easy, and I am currently working on building a new parking area that will be done by April 12th and the new parking will make it much easier for all cars to get to the house and park safely.
House was as advertised and great little space in MA. House was great, comfortable and cozy. It was 200 Mets from bus stop. Bus frequency is 10-30 mins and stops regularly.
We had a wonderful time at Casa Daniela and would definitely recommend it to other travelers who are looking for an authentic Costa Rican stay. Dennis, the caretaker was very responsive before and during our stay at Casa Daniela. Jessica was equally responsive to my many random questions leading up to the trip. Dennis met us when we arrived and gave us a tour and some dinner recommendations. The property was accurately represented in photos and descriptions. It was so nice that it was surrounded by beautiful trees and garden making the temperature perfect for sleeping. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of linens. Having a washer and dryer was a huge bonus - it allowed us to travel light. We appreciated the cold Brita water waiting for us in the refrigerator. The electric kettle was also convenient. We saw many beautiful birds and the big bonus was seeing a sloth with her young baby traveling (slowly) right in the tree of the garden. The location was very central yet secluded. Because it was convenient to the bus, we could hear the traffic - that is the only reason we did not give this 5 stars. We didn't rent a car and did not regret it as it was easy to navigate Manual Antonio and Quepos by bus and taxi. We also visited some of the recommendations of places to eat and enjoyed them all. The décor of the house was very charming, welcoming, modern and rustic all at the same time. We took advantage of the private patio and even used the outside shower! It definitely felt like a "home" away from home. Thank you, Jessica and Hendrik!
Casa Daniela was very homey and beautiful. Dennis made it very easy for us to find him and we appreciated his flexibility and the time he took to show us the grounds and answer our questions. The house was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, our car that was parked in the house parking spot was broken into and robbed. While this is in NO way a reflection of Jessica, Hendrik, or Dennis, I do feel like other potential guests should be made aware. Jessica was quick to get in touch with me after she found out about the incident and I appreciated that. Also, I lived in Costa Rica for 2 years and visited Manuel Antonio on numerous occasions and nothing ever happened. My friend and I were not negligent, nothing was left visible in the car-they stole the car parts and a few pairs of shoes I had in the trunk. I think this could have happened anywhere but I do think it might be a good idea to light the parking area. Other than that, everything else was great about our stay. Thank you Jessica, Hendrik and Dennis!

My boyfriend and I would like to share with you our homes, Casa Daniela in Costa Rica as well as our beautiful duplex apartment in NYC.
I am from Czech Republic and Sweden, and my boyfriend is from Germany. We both love to travel, and really like airbnb ourselves as hosts but also as guests. Airbnb is a great way to travel the world and stay in a nice home, and feel more at home. Even though the luxury of a hotel can be nice as well, having an apartment makes you feel less touristy, and you can cook, make your own tea, coffee and feel more at ease.
For work, I travel a lot, I work as a Fashion Model for 11 years now, all over the world but based in NYC. My boyfriend works in the hospitality business in NYC.
I hope that you will get a chance to stay at one of our beautiful homes, in the hustle and bustle of NYC or in the middle of beautiful beaches and nature in Costa Rica.
