Pont du Gard (UNESCO)
The Pont du Gard (literally: Gard Bridge) is an impressive ancient Roman aqueduct bridge from BC that crosses the Gardon River and was built under the emperor Claude, around 50 AD. The aqueduct was built in order to answer the urban expansion of Nîmes (Nemausus), important city of the province, and its water requirements. The water was drawn from the spring of Eure in Uzès and poured in the conduits of the Castellum Divisarium (water tower) in Nîmes. There are plenty of activities in summer such as swimming, kayaking, picnicking, shops, restaurants and cafés.

Avignon (UNESCO)
The stunning city of Avignon with it's Palais de Pape (Palace of the Popes) bordered by the left bank of the Rhône river. Because of the wall it still has wonderful acoustics. It was a great centre for shows in Roman times and still draws huge audiences to musical events today such as the famous annual summer opera festival held each August.

Simone was very communicative and met us at the villa. She provided us with lots of information including where to visit and eat. She very kindly booked us into an excellent restaurant called La Maison which was a truly memorable experience. The villa was lovely. Beautifully furnished and decorated with loads of character. It was perfect for our party of 7. We enjoyed the pool, spa and the outdoor area with bbq. We also enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Simone and Alexander's wine from Chateau Juliett was delicious and extremely reasonable as discount was provided for those who stay at the villa. Overall the experience was fantastic. I celebrated my 50th birthday at the villa and couldn't have asked for a better venue. I would highly recommend this villa to others. It was peaceful, homely and an extremely relaxing place to holiday. We also enjoyed visiting Nimes and Avignon from the villa.

We loved staying at Chateau Juliette. Simone was a gracious host and made us feel comfortable on arrival. The house is well appointed and very spacious. There was six of us and we had plenty of room. We also enjoyed our time visiting the winery. Alex was very welcoming and the wine is just fabulous. Tresque is a good central location and close to several quaint towns.

This was our first Air BnB experience, and luckily we had the most wonderful time at Juliette's. The house is truly amazing. It's tastefully furnished, with quality bedding and towels, and very well equipped with anything we needed. We enjoyed lovely family dinners alfresco and refreshed in the afternoons by the pool and jacuzzi. Simone kindly accommodated half of our party arriving before us, and left us a complimentary bottle of wine from Chateau Juliette which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed two further bottles and many more from the region! The booklet she left us with tips on restaurants and day trips was so useful. One thing also mentioned by past guests is that the stairs can be dangerous for small children, so we had to keep a constant eye on ours. This however did not outweigh the positives for us. All in all a great stay, and Simone was a superb host. We'd love to come again soon.

My name is Simone I'm Australien, married to Alexandre and I came in the south of France 10 years ago. This amazing 18th century property has been in my husband's family for many years and we invite you to experience Provencal living as we do. The area is fabulous, and I just love the sunshine and here from May to November we get more sunshine than any other part of France which means you can enjoy the nearby rivers (picnicking, swimming, canoeing....), beaches or simply lay in the sun by the private pool. And in summer it doesn't get dark until 10pm so you can make the most of your long days and evenings!! Being in Historical Provence over the years I have so loved discovering all the historical and cultural sites in our region and look forward to sharing these with you. My husband and I own a famous winery called Château Juliette ((URL HIDDEN) and would be more than happy to give you a run down on wine making and you can taste our wines. We offer a complementary bottle on arrival to get you straight into the swing of French lifestyle and we offer a 25% discount on all wines to our guests during their stay. I look forward to meeting you in person!!
