Juliette's villa was beautiful and well appointed, and everything that we had hoped for. Alexandre and Simone were very welcoming and accommodating.
The host canceled this reservation 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
A wonderful long weekend at Juliette's Villa! The listing is very accurate & the villa is beautifully presented - the pool and hot tub were perfect for the hot weekend weather. We were made to feel very welcome & Simone was available for any queries we had during our stay. Highly recommend this villa for a family group or bunch of friends - we would definitely love to return. There is plenty of space & the facilities are just as we expected. Plenty of clean towels and linen and comfortable beds. Simone was very accommodating of our baby too.
Juliette's villa was beautiful, well located, spacious, and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed our time immensely and appreciate the attentiveness and kindness of Simone and Alexandre during our stay. We hope to return next summer!
We first met Simone, then Alexandre on our arrival. A faultlessly polite & welcoming couple, all that we needed to know was explained plus bonus tips like "the best croissant in THE WORLD are to be found at the Patisserie in Connaux (merci Alex!). We enjoyed the house, it's ambience was authentically provincial. The house is so spacious that a group of 10 would be quite comfortable. We also enjoyed a few of Chateau Juliette's own wines!
Thanks Simone & Alexandre for your beautiful accommodation, which was also an excellent base to explore treasures like Gordes, Uzes, Avignon, Pont du Gard & Fontaine du Vaucluse. Très bien!!
Juliette's Villa was everything my parents and I had hoped for; a relaxing private getaway with all the comforts of home both outdoors and indoors. The jacuzzi was a lovely bonus and I can imagine the pool would be lovely in the warmer months. We loved the location and enjoyed driving the countryside to see the many sites of Provence. Simone was a perfect host, going out of her way to give us directions.
If you are considering staying at Juliette's Villa, look no further. You will love it! I am looking forward to returning because one week was not nearly enough time.
About the Host, Simone And Alexandre
My name is Simone, I am Australian and married to Alexandre who is French. I came to join my husband in the beautiful south of France 10 years ago. This amazing 18th century property has been in my husbands family for many years and we invite you to experience Provencal living as we do. The area is fabulous, being Australian I just love the sunshine and here from May to November we get more sunshine than any other part of France which means you can enjoy the nearby rivers (picnicking, swimming, canoeing....), beaches or simply lay in the sun by the private pool. And in summer it doesn't get dark until 10pm so you can make the most of your long days and evenings!! Being in Historical Provence over the years I have so loved discovering all the historical and cultural sites in our region and look forward to sharing these with you. My husband and I own a boutique winery called Château Juliette ((website hidden)) and would be more than happy to give you a run down on wine making and you can taste our wines. We offer a complementary bottle on arrival to get you straight into the swing of French lifestyle and we offer a 25% discount on all wines to our guests during their stay. I look forward to meeting you in person!!
