The Groningen Boltjalk ANNABELLE offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the canals in the heart of Amsterdam.
The houseboat has accommodation for up to 4 persons and is equipped with all comforts.
The berth at the corner Keizersgracht and Utrechtsestraat gives a view of life on the Amsterdam canals. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are within walking distance available.
The house boat used to be a real boat, now it is a luxurious 2 bed room home on one of the main canals of Amsterdam the Keizersgracht canal. The boat has a living space of 80m2, that is a lot for a house boat. So you get a very spacious feeling when you are inside. Furthermore there are a lot of windows on eye sight, so you can see boats pass by. Because the bridge only lets small boats through you don't get the noisy canal tour boats passing by. On the deck you can enjoy your dinner, or a glass of wine. The house boat is suitable for families or a romantic weekend.
You can even rent a small motorized boat from us in which you can roam the canals yourself!

Helpful and very hospitable. All the best and thanks for mailing back some of our stuff.
This was such a pretty and cosy place to stay!
The location was suberb - so close to Rembrant square and all city Amsterdam sights in walking distance!
The canal was quiet and so beautiful, especially at night sitting on the still water with views of the bridges lit up!
The beds were comfortable too!
Jacob organised for us to check in early and the owner came to visit us to see how everything was and allowed us to checkout late in line with our departure time! Wonderful people to deal with!
The house boat is the perfect, quiet home away from home if you want a magical stay in Amsterdam with canals, house boats, beautiful buildings, bikes, museums, art and restaurants surrounding you. It comfortably sleeps six and is well equipped with fresh towels and sheets, plus a full kitchen where you can easily cook meals. The wood stove takes the chill out of the air on a cold day, and it is cozy to hang out in the living room area.
Jacob is a friendly guy who was very accommodating and easily reachable. We can highly recommend this boat!
The houseboat on Keizersgracht - This was a great way to enjoy a stay in Amsterdam and we would do it again in a heartbeat! First, our host, Jacob was great. He met us at the boat, obviously showed us the ins and outs of the boat and told us about the area. He was always reachable and very helpful. The first day he offered to find a cheap cell phone for us to use and contact him with. When I took him up on the offer, he ran out (bicycled actually, as they all do in Amsterdam) and came back in half an hour with a 15 euro phone. Great! It made me feel like I had a life line in my pocket!
Second - the boat! - I can't imagine a better way to enjoy Amsterdam and really get into the vibe of the city! I rented the boat with a colleague. We were attending a conference for the week and both brought along our 20ish year old sons (I won't have to tell you what they thought of the trip). At the end of each day, our accommodations became the "must visit" place for many of our friends also attending the conference. We would sit on the rear deck sharing food and drinks, talking, watching boaters and bicyclists go by, people walking around and activity at the nearby pub and restaurant scenes. It just doesn't get more enjoyable than this. Inside the boat, the layout worked great with one bedroom at each end of the boat, a separate bathroom (head) from the shower room, a kitchen full of new appliances and a walk thru living room with pullout couch. Ceiling height was significantly greater than expected, at 6'2" I never felt cramped.
This rental has it all - location, location, location - plus unique accommodations and a great host!
