Interaction with Guests
My home is now your home, with that said I am more than happy to make recommendations of some of my favorite places in St Augustine as I did go to college in town.
This Historic home is in the best location for visiting St Augustine, romantic tree lined street were you can easily walk everywhere. It is located in the most desirable part of town.
You are walking distance to everything within the Historic City.
If you want to venture out of downtown you a few minutes’ drive from the beaches, outlet malls, alligator farm and St Augustine airport.
Other Things to Note
We also own the first farm to table restaurant in downtown St Augustine and should you want one of our chefs to come in and cater you a romantic meal, get married in the garden all this can be arranged.
No cigarette smoking in the apartment, but fine if you want to smoke in the garden.
I will leave a welcome booklet with all the other information you will need for check out etc.
The location of the apartment was great with plenty of off street parking. The apartment was a spacious one bedroom. The owners made us feel welcome but we're out of sight. There was a nice little porch attached as well. A very cute little apartment in a great downtown location.
The apartment is close to the fort and old town. Off street parking was good and everything worked well. Very nice stay. Only comment would be is it needs a good cleaning. Thanks for a great place and nice stay.
I'm a frequent visitor to St. Augustine. Over the years I've stayed in major hotels, small motels, B&Bs, and rental condominiums in the area. At the last minute my girlfriend & I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day a week early, and we wanted something a little different. I found this uniquely decorated unit after a few minutes of searching airbnb, and I was intrigued by what I saw. This was my first airbnb rental, so I was a little skeptical. Jason R's Lover's Tree House was everything I expected, and more.
When we arrived, we found everything to be clean. The decor was warm & inviting. The furnishing were comfortable. The location was ideal for accessing the west side of downtown St. Augustine (it's less than a 5 minute walk to Scarlet O'Hara's). Above all, it was extremely quiet.
Given this is an upstairs apartment, I was very impressed by the use of space. The kitchen is large enough to prepare a meal for an entire family. A walk-in closet provides ample room to store your luggage and hanging items. The balcony runs the entire length of the structure. The living area could easily sit 6-8 people at once.
The unit's climate control kept us very comfortable. Also, there was PLENTY of hot water available. We were able to take back-to-back showers, and the water temperature hardly changed between them.
A tandem washer / dryer unit was available for guest use. It was very handy for getting wrinkles out of clothing. Considering it's difficult not to dine out when you're in downtown St. Augustine, it's nice to know if you spill something on your clothes, you can wash them promptly.
There were two caveats that didn't affect us, but might be an issue for other guests. The first is the property being upstairs. While the stairs are sturdy and have handrails on both sides, there are a lot of them. The second is the parking situation. If you have a large vehicle (such as a pickup with a long cab), you may find it difficult to fit into the parking space. Also, you will likely have to back out all the way from the parking area to the street. There is virtually no traffic on the street, so as long as you're going slow, you shouldn't have any problems.
The Lover's Tree House is perfectly named. It has the privacy, peacefulness, and decorum to make a special getaway just right. It combines the feel of a B&B with the spaciousness of a condominium. If you don't mind stepping out for breakfast (or fixing it yourself in the kitchen), you should definitely give this place a try.
Great location! Went down to the old city to participate in the Matanzas 5k. The race was only two blocks from the location. I couldn't ask for more. The off street parking is a luxury in St. Augustine and having stable wifi was awesome. Unfortunately the pretty icicle lights on the porch were out, but that didn't stop us from opening the doors and letting in the cool air (it was in the 50s). Jason was very amenable to our late check in and the place was clean and easy to navigate. I plan to book here every year for the 5k!
We had a great time at the tree house. The location was close to downtown and the apartment was lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves.
This place is perfect for a getaway. It is far enough out of the touristy part of old town to be quiet; yet, it is close enough to walk the old town without getting winded. The bedroom was open and large. The walls are uniquely painted. The balcony is cosy and has some seating to enjoy the outside too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Really like my home to be a home and want you to feel as comfortable as possible here to.
Other than that love to go on adventures and travel, create art, drink good wine, eat good food, be in nature.
