About this listing
Located in one of San Francisco’s most bohemian and central neighborhoods, I offer a large sunny room with a very comfortable queen bed and shared bathroom.
My home is located on Page Street which is one block from the trendy shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and salons of the Lower Haight. It is walking distance to beautiful Alamo Square Park (home of the fabled “Painted Ladies” Victorian homes), Hayes Valley, Castro, Mission, NOPA, the Panhandle, Golden Gate Park, Upper Haight, and Civic Center.
Public transportation is only steps away with the public bus lines (MUNI) and Metro service to Downtown, BART, and Ocean Beach. Freeway access is a short drive to both north and south-bound directions.
There are many restaurants and cafes just steps away… Uva Enoteca (Italian), Thep Phanom (Thai), Axum Café (Ethiopian), Maven (American), NOPA (Urban Rustic), Nopalito (Mexican), Herbivore (Vegetarian), L'ardoise Bistro, Indian Oven, Suppenküche (German), Woodhouse (Seafood), Memphis Minnie’s (BBQ), Café du Soleil, Samovar and many others.

Patrick has a beautiful home. Its very clean. In our room there were lots of information for San Francisco. Patrick is very helpfull.
Also his dog is so cute :)
Patrick was excellent at making contact with us prior to our visit and very accommodating in working with our itinerary to meet us. On arrival he and his totally adorable wee dog met us and made us feel very welcome, explaining the rules of the house, showing us around, and providing us with great tourist advice, pamphlets and maps for our stay. Patrick's neighbourhood was safe and easy to find, with good access to public transport, restaurants, and very close to the famous 'painted ladies' houses! It is clear that Patrick has a fantastic eye for design as his home is beautiful and filled with interesting art and other pieces of interest. During our stay I enjoyed chatting with Patrick in the mornings over coffee. He was excellent at providing suggestions of things to do, as well as lovely to talk to about the real life experiences of living in San Francisco. The room was a good size and very comfortable - the use of the wardrobe was particularly appreciated as it meant we could actually unpack a little after a week on the road! We were also able to do some washing at the very convenient 'Wish Washy' laundromat located just a few metres away. As an added service, Patrick offers a (paid) airport drop-off service which we took advantage of and were very appreciative of. I would definitely recommend Patrick's place to all :)
First experience with Airbnb, and very satisfied
Patrick house is very nice and the room very comfortable
We did enjoy our stay in Patrick house and would definitely recommend it.
We really had a wonderful stay at Patrick's home! His home is beautiful decorated, with love to detail - just as the pictures show. Patrick is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed his recommendations. The house is centrally located and you can reach buses in every direction. There are also nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. Patrick's home was defentitely the best choice for us.
Patrick is a very nice landlord, helping me a lot with my days in SF. And his dog is so cute.
Patrick's home is in a great location (close to nice restaurants) and is amazingly decorated and we felt very welcomed, safe and clean there. Nice warm good pressure shower. Warm comfy bed. Free coffee if desired. Patrick's dog was so cute and cuddly. We really enjoyed our stay here. Would highly recommend.

About the Host, Patrick
Creative, easy-going, spiritual. I enjoy art, architecture, design, photography, traveling, cultural diversity, family, friends, conversation, good food and wine.
I have been fortunate enough to have traveled throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, North, South and Central America. I've been an Airbnb host since 2010 and have gained as much from the experience of hosting as much as my guests do from staying with me. I look forward to sharing my love of San Francisco with you and hope you enjoy your stay at my home.
