About this listing

Welcome to the Lower Haight! My neighborhood and the surrounding areas are filled with cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, and salons. Spend the day walking around and sampling local flavor, or grab a blanket and spend an afternoon in one of the nearby parks... Alamo Square Park, Duboce Park, Dolores Park, or Golden Gate Park.

The space

Located in one of San Francisco’s most bohemian and central neighborhoods, I offer a large sunny room with a very comfortable queen bed and shared bathroom.

My home is located on Page Street which is one block from the trendy shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and salons of the Lower Haight. It is walking distance to beautiful Alamo Square Park (home of the fabled “Painted Ladies” Victorian homes), Hayes Valley, Castro, Mission, NOPA, the Panhandle, Golden Gate Park, Upper Haight, and Civic Center.

Public transportation is only steps away with the public bus lines (MUNI) and Metro service to Downtown, BART, and Ocean Beach. Freeway access is a short drive to both north and south-bound directions.

There are many restaurants and cafes just steps away… Uva Enoteca (Italian), Thep Phanom (Thai), Axum Café (Ethiopian), Maven (American), NOPA (Urban Rustic), Nopalito (Mexican), Herbivore (Vegetarian), L'ardoise Bistro, Indian Oven, Suppenküche (German), Nara (Japanese), Woodhouse (Seafood), Memphis Minnie’s (BBQ), Café du Soleil, Bar Crudo and many others.

Patrick was a super nice and friendly host who made our stay very enjoyable. He gave us suggestions on how to get to certain places and was also very flexible, accomodating for us when we wanted to leave our luggage before we departed for our late flight. The private room is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything provided including cutlery, plates and cups. Patrick also provided coffee/tea and granola bars. The location of the place is quiet and also close to public transport. Overall we had a lovely stay and highly recommend Patrick's place.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and a walkable distance from restaurants and attractions. Patrick provided snacks and travel guides, which were very helpful for navigating the city.

Patrick's home is comfortable, restful, luxurious, and inspiring. Really appreciated having access to the cozy living, dining, and kitchen areas. Parking can be a challenge, but there are bus lines not far away.

Thanks for staying at your wonderful place Patrick. Gerlie was a great co-host. Unfortunately we can't meet you but Gerlie told us all important things an looked after us at anytime. Down the road there are a lot of nice bars and restaurants. We tried the Thai House 2 and it was great (good value for money and delicious). We can definitely recommend your wonderful and cosy place for a stay in San Francisco! Best wishes, Evelyn & Hannes

Patrick User ProfilePatrick is a superhost.

I enjoy art, architecture, design, photography, hiking, traveling, cultural diversity, family, friends, conversation, good food and wine.

I have been fortunate enough to have traveled throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, North, South and Central America. I've been an Airbnb host since 2010 and have gained as much from the experience of hosting as much as my guests do from staying with me. I look forward to sharing my love of San Francisco with you and hope you enjoy your stay at my home.
