Swim in the infinity pool

It's one of the many things that makes this home special.
Two unique houses connected with extensive outdoor living areas & amenities, overlooking the Guadalupe River, create a peaceful riverfront retreat. Whether your goal is rest, renewal, family fun or exploring the Texas Hill Country, the setting at Rio de Arcadia will accentuate your getaway to the hills. Beyond the giant shaded deck & patio spaces, amenities include a negative edge pool, fire pit, hot tub, amphitheater, 4 hole putting green, hammock, terraced playing fields, horseshoes & swing.

The space
The larger 1,900 square foot "Casa Tejas" offers a slightly contemporary 'Texana' theme. Casa Tejas' 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath set up with separate Den, Dining, Great Room, Utility/Laundry & Kitchen, all reflect a 7 generation journey through Texas history. From the artful front door, personally hand crafted by famed jeweler & craftsman, James Avery, to the bedroom desk carefully carted cross country from the Alabama State House to the Austin area in 1854, interesting embellishments with a story await your discovery

'Texas Tuscan' comes to mind in the more compact 1,100 square foot 2 bedroom, 2 bath venue of "The Studio". A more traditional interior is accentuated by furnishings and art work collected from Europe by four generations of family.

Both houses, the private pool and access to all outdoor spaces are included when you rent this property. See Photo Gallery for aerial view of property and floor plans for both houses.

Guest access
The two unique houses are joined beneath majestic oaks by the 1,700 square foot "Great Deck" overlooking the upper terrace which features a kids' swing and "Fern Bed" hammock. A flagstone patio, hot tub, fire pit and amphitheater plus three terraced playing fields, with river access for wading and kayaking, create a unique outdoor setting overlooking the Guadalupe River.

Other things to note
The pool is able to be heated with advanced notice and an additional fee. Please contact the owner for more information.

My work: Rio de Arcadia LLC
Lives in Kerrville, Texas
Howell is an architect with a passion for creating indoor and outdoor spaces and places in which people can connect with what matters most and Debbie loves the outdoors. It has been our dream to host people in the Hill Country where we have lived for over 30 years. Hence, Rio de Arcadia was born as a peaceful place where people can connect with family, friends, faith & nature. Some of our favorite things are art, wine, food, and connection. These things are woven into the experience at Rio de Arcadia. We set the setting, you pursue your passion. We live on the adjacent property so will be available should you require anything during your visit here.
