Interaction with Guests
We are living and working from home, so we spend most of the time in the house like a working community with external people coming most day the office for daily operations. We are a big community of people of around 8 people working closely together. All current students or alumni from Kenyatta university.
One of the safest estates in Nairobi, due to the biggest army base in Kenya being our neighbors. Many officers in the army resides in this estate.
Great access to public transport 24/7
be kind and attentive :) and so will we be, its a very laid back but well organized community
Daniel took care that a trustworthy driver will pick me up at the airport and provided me with all kind of necessary information upon my quite late arrival. As he needed to travel the next day, he made sure that someone will stay in the house so that there will always be a person of contact for me. So everthing worked very well throughout my stay.
The house is ideally located in Kahawa Sukari, so I could either take a moto taxi or even walk to Kenyatta University.
Daniel and everyone at the house were very welcoming. Although I had some last minute changes to my travel plans, they were extremely flexible and accommodating. We also prepared a nice dinner together, over which we shared a lot of friendly debate and discussion!
My stay at Daniel's house lasted for over a month as I worked on a small project in Kenya. The house and company were an absolute highlight of the experience. Daniel and Lawrence were warm and welcoming and made sure that my experience there was memorable. They both went out of their way to include me in events, introduced me to friends and provided a safe home for me to stay at. They have my sincerest thanks and my strongest recommendation for their home.
