Just remodeled with bamboo floors, an artist's attention to detail, and a seasoned traveler's appreciation of comfort, this complete one-bedroom apartment with its own entrance is the perfect home base when visiting Seattle. In the charming, family-friendly Ballard/Phinney neighborhood, you'll be within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Phinney Ridge, and just a short drive to downtown Ballard, Green Lake, the Woodland Park Zoo, and much more. Also close to two bus lines, walk four short blocks to catch an express bus downtown.
The apartment is on the basement level of a classic Ballard bungalow with a lovely garden out front and a porch you're welcome to use. You'll find: new appliances and all the kitchenware you'll need, fabulous modern tile work in the bathroom, a queen bed, 32-inch HDTV with cable, ipod docking station, wi-fi, washer/dryer, and off-street parking.
The immediate neighborhood features some of the finest coffee shops and eateries in the North End. Within walking distance are Bambino's (coffee shop), The Barking Dog (pub and eatery), Stumbling Goat (Northwest cuisine), Honore (French bakery), and many more. The Phinney and Ballard Farmer's Markets are a short stroll away, and for the exercise enthusiast Green Lake, the Burke-Gilman bike trail, and the Woodland Park and Zoo beckon. For music lovers, The Tractor Tavern, the Sunset, and a host of others in downtown Ballard, and in Fremont there's great entertainment within a 5-minute drive.

To keep costs down for you it is expected that you do the daily and weekly cleaning. If you're wanting cleaning and linen service provided during the stay it costs an additional $20. for each cleaning service. Requested additional cleaning service during your stay includes change of linens, cleaning bathroom, kitchen and the floors .
There is a cleaning fee of $40 that applies to all stays.
The ceilings in the apartment are lower than standard height so this would not work well for very tall people. We had a tenant for a year who was 6'1" and he was fine with the height.
Weekly rates do not apply during the summer season. Depending on our next bookings we can be flexible with check in and check out times.
For stays longer than a week we will need access to the washing machine and dryer at a mutually agreeable time once a week for three loads of wash.
