  • Carrie was a great host!
Her place in the Cayman Islands is amazing. It was clean and exactly as promised. Her place is about a 20 minute walk to the beach and right beside a grocery store - great location!
We didn't have internet for 3 days or water for 2 days but Carrie quickly got the problem fixed and was very responsive as soon as I let her know there was an issue.
I would definitely stay at Carrie's again if I go back to the Cayman Island.

  • Carrie tried her best to be a good host during our stay at her condo in the Cayman's, but we ran into a lot of difficulty. We didn't have electricity for the first 2.5 days (out of 6) of our stay. Additionally, there was supposed to be wireless internet at the condo, but this also was not available due to an expired account with the telco company. So just make extra sure to check on the status of her condo before booking a stay.

To be fair, Carrie was nice enough to put us in the hotel for one of the night and to refund us an additional night. And she attempted to treat us to dinner, but since we didn't have internet at her house, we didn't get the email about dinner until it was too late.

Once electricity was up, her place was very pleasant to stay at. You should consider renting a car though. It's walking distance to the beach, but a 10-15 min walk. It was nice to have a full apartment though where we could cook meals and enjoy a larger amount of space than a hotel room.
